I think this wallpaper is actually a really cute idea! However, the one thing I have a problem with here is the raised effect on the "Chocobo Heaven" text. As a Final Fantasy fan, I almost think it's not even necessary to have it there (since anyone who has played for so many years pretty much *knows* what a Chocobo looks like XD) but if you absolutely feel the need to keep it in (maybe not to alienate the folks just getting into the series?) I would recommend making the text just a tad bit more conspicuous.

I really like the wallpaper, it reminds me of one of those sunset pictures you see people take on safari in Africa. I hate the text though, all of it can be really improved. First off make it smaller and I would just make it a solid color. Punching it out and making the effect that you have made draws all of the attention right to the text and it kind of dimishes the whole wallpaper. Just my suggestion!

I agree with everyone else here on the text! It definately needs to be either more subtle or totally removed. It's far to big and totally draws your eye away from everything else. The font could also use alot of work, I dunno if it's because it's so massive but it doesn't really suit the wallpaper.

The problem with taking out the text completely is that it'll make the right side of your wall feel alot more empty. Now you could counter that by maybe putting in a smaller baby chocobo like this lil' fella sillouetted in there. Then that will help fill the gap and draw your eye around more.

The grass could also do with a bit of work. At the moment it looks massively brushed and doesn't really have any kind of randomness to it at all. It may be an idea to find another couple of grass brushes and just mix them up a bit. It'll just make it feel a bit more natural.

Yeah, I agree. So I changed the grass a bit and the font of the text. In the first version I posted, I made the text lighter and in the second, i just got rid of it. Which is better?

I'm leaning towards the version without text, myself ^^; I just think the wall is more balanced without it; even if it's faint, you don't quite know where to look at the wall that way. Now the focus is definitely in the lower right first and foremost, and then in the upper left with the feathers.

On a technical standpoint, this wall is very nice! But the only thing I notice looking at it now is that some of the feathers appear cut off. The lowest one in the sky (nearer to the left) and the duplicates of that shape definitely look truncated. If you round off the edge, it should be fine :3
