Does anyone play Harvest Moon?

I recently started playing Harvest moon and I love it. The game is a great role playing game and I love that you have a lot of choices in the game.
Harvest Moon is a different thing that all people think right? First it seems like a boring game about a farm but then you realize that is a very addicting simulator game...the only bad point about it is that until some time you get tired of doing the same and not be able to do something else like gather more vegetables, buy more stuff, get more animals, start a serious bussiness. A good point for this game is that it would be very interesting seeing it in an online version
Althought this game can get really boring at times, i always get back to it from time to time o.o its quite relaxing tho time consuming... i would like to play english girl version but had only the japanese one -.- and the online version would be really nice but didnt heard of any project like that?
i always made the fence with lil stones, not wood. it didnt broke and you could keep more wood for building the house. just a lil suggestion...

Which Harvest Moon, and which console?

I like many of the different versions of this game and think that all of them are a little bit different, but all really nice^^ One of my favorites is the first version origionally for PS1...I don't know but I think that sometimes the origionals are the best^^
As soon as I get a harvest moon game, chances are you won't see me for the next week at least. XD I think the one for the n64 is my favorite so far but I haven't played the second one for the ps2.

Wii harvest moon? Hopefully it'd be awesome! I have a DS, and I've heard (but never played) that the Harvest Moon DS game wasn't so good. Apparently, it was just a recycle of the older GBA game.
I've got harvest moon for the n64 and the gamecube. I think I like the 64 one better, simply because its what got me started on the series. It's like a classic to me!

The very first version of Harvest Moon, and my personal favorite, would be the SNES version, with Nina, Mary, Ellen, Ann, and Karen^^ Then I've also played the N64 version, the PS1 version, the PS2 version, the gamecube version, and I also own the Gameboy Advance version. I REALLY REALLY want to get the english girl version for the Gameboy Advance, though... Waa U.U You know, I think I'd go ballistic if there ever came a wii version of Harvest Moon. You could actually be waving your arms while you rode the horsey^^

I actually started with HM with the PS1 version, and I loooved it! I remember worrying over my sick animals, complaining about having to water loads of crops... I just got into it a bit too much. But it's great to spend some time with, especially if you're not doing anything during a long break or so, 'cause once you start to get into it, it's hard to let go.
Life without music just wouldn't be worth living.
I plyaed the first Harvest Moon version. Well, i don't really like this game. You will be needing a lot of patience playing this game. The gameplay itself is very repetitive.
At the morning, you just water the planting, feed the animals, and so on. Not much you can do. If it's harvest time then harvest, changing season, plant something new. Well, al for collecting money.
There's no significant storyline, that made this game boring.

The Cube version, A Wonderful Life, is my favorite. Which is blasphemus to most HM fans, I think.
Kind of like Zelda- people either usually lean toward classic RPG view or 3D view, and there in ensues a battle. Although, I like both, I'm a 3D gal myself.
Anyhow- I always find myself wanting them to mix the games, take pieces here and there and form the next one- but they never do.
I love Friends of Mineral Town and HM64 and I am currently playing HMDS (although I've taken a break for a bit to play several other DS games). I am looking very forward to Harvest Moon for Wii.

When I first saw my cousine playing the PS1-Harvest Moon, I thought it looked very boring...but then she wanted me to play it too, and wow, it's absolutely addicting ^_^ Of course it's... like... the same things to do every day, but it's still fun to play it every now and then~ I love the SNES-, the PS1- and the GBA-game, but the NGC-game was too long, in my opinion. Especially the third chapter... it took me so long until I finished it, because it always bored me after two days. -_-; I really like the characters from AWL, though~

All the other Harvest Moon games can't compare to the original SNES one. It had very good graphics, and the game was revolutionary. No one would expect a farming game to be so good. I have Harvest Moon for SNES, and Harvest Moon 2 for GBC. They were addictive and really fun. Everyone should play it D;

I play HM! It's only the greatest game that nobody else played! I've been a fan since the original SNES game came out all those years ago.
My biggest hope is that PS3 will bring out a high def HM. One w/SD graphics, but still very charming to look at.
