Anime Characters That are Similar But are From Different Series
Well, after watching a lot of anime, I've uncovered some similarities between two characters, this makes me wonder, are there any more similarities like these two out there? If so what are they and how are they similar?
Chad from Bleach and Kazuma from s-CRY-ed are reeeeaaaallllyyyy similar
1) they both have a power that involves their arm(s)
2) both use that power to 'protect'

2)Both are considered intelligent.
3)Both want to take over something (guess)

Ishida Uryuu from Bleach and Uchiha Sasuke from Naruto:
Aside from having the same voice, they're both too arrogant for their own good.
Nagato Yuki from The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi and Vanilla from Galaxy Angels:
Both are very quiet, almost expressionless and mysterious...

Both are pretty obsessed with their sisters. Both opposed the main protagonist because of the said obsession...I think. Both use the ice element.

Ahhh! Nagato Yuki from Suzumiya Haruhi and Soma Yuki from Fruits Basket. They look almost exactly alike- well, except one is a guy... and except one is a * from *...
I'm a bit surprised, no one seems to have mentioned the pair above.
But maybe the other similarities are because anime uses stereotypes

Jejeje, in [Najica BLitz Tactics] and [Stratos 4], the main characters in S4 are extra characters in NBT, because the director is same :P

I thought that Nagato Yuki Suzumiya Haruhi and Mai from Kanon 2006 were really really similar. They are both really cute and very powerful also they don't really talk that much...and the main character (guy character) has feelings for them kinda in Suzumiya Haruhi but not really...>_>
I also agree with biteme in that Ishida and Sasuke are very similar...they both are too damn arrogant but i prefer ishida's character over Sasuke even though sasuke is much color >_> Ishida didn't actually act that much like dick like Sasuke so yea...but Sasuke is really pwning rite now...thats what i've been hearing I don't think ishida i really ever gonna surpase Ichigo while Sasuke has surpassed Naruto like crazy...

Rei Ayanami from Neon Genesis Evangelion and Aono Morimiya from sola.
Not only are their designs strikingly similar (whitish hair, red eyes), they also seem to have the same personality (silent, not really talkative, seeming to be asleep all the time). (That's nothing to write home about though, now that I think about it, because Ayanami clones are popping out everywhere...)

How bout cardcaptor sakura and tsubasa chronicles?|
Tsubasa Chronicles is made after the animes of Clamp(?).
I think Kawamura Seiji(Midori No Hibi),Kurosaki Ichigo(Bleach) and Soma Kyo(Fruits Basket) looks the same.I mean,orange hair,and they like to fight(especially Kyo with Yuki).

Well if i would have to say ant characters have a simalarity i woul say it would be Sado Chad(bleach) and Bob Makihara (Tenjo Tenge) because they are both the quiet type an they aren't out spoken as opposed to their counter parts Ichigo and Soichiro thats a another comparison right there they are both cocky as hell but they have a sense of justice to match so i say thats who have a comparison 
Lavie Head from Last Exile and Mayumi Kino from Blue Sub 6. Cause they're practically the same character.
This one's only skin deep but Mimori Kiryu from Scryed and Meer Campbell from MSGSD, cause again, thery're the same frickin character.
