Anyone enjoy music games?
Anyone a fan of music sim type games ? i enjoy beatmaniaIIDX, PoP'N, DDR and pump it up.
I love music games, generally. I play mainly Stepmania and Guitar Hero/Frets on Fire (though I'm much better at the first - I beat seven and eight feet difficulty on Step, while I sweat bullets to get a pass on Hard on GH. But I'll get better - I'm not stopping until I perfect-combo God Knows on Hard at Frets on Fire!), and especially love the oddball musical games such as Ouendan (OSU!).

TO ME, THE BEST MUSIC GAMES IS FROM PUMP IT UP, KING OF FIGHTERS 98, SILENT HILL, AND RESIDENT EVIL....

I love it sooo much, that I tried to get "Machine Dance" (DDR) as officially sport in my country. But there is no one who can decide what is sport, and what not.
I play also Beatmania IIDX.

All my music either comes from animes or games. Ace Combat series has a lot of great orchestra songs. The old SNES games had some of the coolest techno songs.
Lol, The only music games I like are the Elite Beat Agents/Ouendan games for the DS, and maybe guitar hero too lol
I definitely am a DDR freak, already broke at least 5 dance pads due to excess of use lol, that game is the only thing that keeps me from going overweight.
The only reasons I don't play Pump it Up are because I started playing DDR first and the home version of PIU is god-modedly expensive, whereas the dance pads and overall the initial bundles of DDR are worth as much or less than any other game.
While the "Guitar Hero" series may be fun to play I, personally, consider it not worth it, specially because I play guitar myself, besides it is more rewarding to do it on the real thing than some half-built emulator...

I like music games. The music is catchy and fun, plus it's a great way to get exercise, and games like Guitar Hero, and Rock Band really let you do some awesome things that you probably could not do in real life. Heck I even get most of my songs from music games.
Meh. DDR, not so much.
I'm all about Guitar Hero and Rock Band. They're the pick of the litter for me. Guitar Hero a bit more so than RB.

Heh, I'm a DDR and Guitar Hero person myself.
DDR is fun because it's excersizing while having fun. Plus, the music is usually nice and upbeat too. Guitar hero, I suck BTW XD, is also fun. A very colorful game.
But yeah, Music is always a plus for me while I play. It helps you really get into games, don't you think?

Eh just Stepmania for me.
So far I can play up to Expert-10's (Note: Usually considered Expert-12 on other themes.) The difficulty rating changes based on the theme you are using. So here is a screenie to answer any questions.

I played O2Jam before. It's a good online music game. I recommend to who like to spend some time "crashing" some keyboards. ^^
Sayonara

I was thinking about getting into DJ max xD, but i dunno anyone tried it and if so can you tell me if its good?
I dont like DDR or Guitar Hero mainly because it makes people think they can play guitar when they really cant and also because they somethimes kill the song they are trying to play but i like some games sound tracks
