Bleach Wall
Lol i was thinking about a couple of bleach opening scenes that i'd like to vector into walls for myself, but hey, i remember this one. well, as it is currently, it's too simple to be accepted, i think. there isn't a bg at all behind ichigo and rukia, just a blue and red stripe on white. wasn't there more in the screenshot? anyway. you need to have more stuff in there, not necessarily cram it, but to get rid of that empty feeling...and the bright whiteness, which hurts my eyes a bit.
as to the vector, it's not extremely good. the edges are jaggy in places and the lines don't "flow" as in are not smooth. it looks like you used the polygonal lasso tool or something close to it, but you definitely need to polish it up. ;]

I agree with Asa's comments. There are some jagged edges, and the bg is a bit too plain. Adding some interesting text could work, depending on the positioning, font and coloring. There is a group here at AP that if for fonts and helps users, if you want it.
Well i got rid of thewhite background an fixed some of the vectored area's
Now i want to put some graffiti on the wall. an maybe put a wanted poster of Aizen on the wall to. but is that a good idea To put a poster of Aizen on the wall?

I hope the color of the wall is alright not sure myself.
well is this a step in the right direction?

I must also agree with asa's comment, there is to many jagged edges and i liked the first BG best.
try to make a more retro 70's background or just add some more lines of different sizes with the same colors
try to make some shadows on ichigo's hair (google again). make some simple BG and chose the one YOU are most satisfied with and work on it (i make 2-5 bg before I'm satified).
anyways, good luck

Well, the vectoring is still a big problem area. many parts are still angular/jagged. examples include ichigo's hair, ichigo's ear, and rukia's arm...pit. anyway i think the bricks thing doesn't quite fit them. and they are too bright for that kind of a bg anyway. go abstract, like the bleach opening illustrations. go for something fun. and clean. and bright. nothing painful for the eyes, but nothing dark dark dark. go back to the original bg and add to it. ^^
The green and yellow colors kinda seem out of place to me in your latest one for those squigly lines in the middle

Ok, well, I like the very last version you posted, but I think you still are having problems with your bg. when you wall, you should try to do something different than re-creating the screencap. it's basically your chance to let your charachters be portrayed in whatever way you want to do them, so have fun with your bg. the reds, whites and blues look good with the outfits they are wearing, but you can always experiment with different colors.
I think retro brushes would really look good on this vector, and if you've seen any of my previous posts, you'd know I'm not a huge fan of those, but there are always exceptions, so yeah, go to dev. art and try to get your hands on some of them circly retro brushes, and see what you come up with.
also as many have stated, you need to work a little more on your vectors, the first things I noticed were that your outlines were huge. it looks like you've used shape outlines, so that shouldn't be much to fix, but they are really big. ;)
I would love to see rukia put back in this wall, and I don't really think you need any text at all, but should you choose to keep it, I would go with a different font, or make that one a little bigger or less bold so it is more legible.
hope that helps! I'm gonna subscribe to your thread so I can keep up on your updates! ;)

I didnt like the last one, and there are problems with the vectoring of the girl...
the bg is not good enough...
just keep trying

WELL I would say to forget about the background right now, because your NUMBER ONE problem is the caracter vectoring. If you use Illustrator the smooth tool woul really help you out ALOT. IF not I suggest re-vectoring certian areas, actually like 30% of the characters, Mostly the details in the character design. GJ and GL!

Yeah, you really need to work on them, the problem with the opening and ending sequences is that the charachters are shown for so little time, so they really don't put a lot of work into drawing them out. you could surely find a screencap of ichi & rukia in those positions, then vector that, then vector those outfits onto them, or use some pics for references during your vectors, but, if you're like me, I have no artists imagination, and I have to trace everything, so it's really hard putting things in that aren't there.
hopefully, you're not like me, and can fill in where your vector left off no problem.
@kenny - get a life.
