While this is the widescreen version, I also have formatted it to 1152x864 (Weird, I know, it's the only size I can fit it to without losing anything though). I still have the .psd open and I'm thinking it might need something else, but I wanted to get y'all's opinion first. Everything is done by... hand and tablet. Vectoring and stuffs.



Anything I should work on? I'd really like to sumbit to the gallery :D

um, I think that you need a few more elements in your bg, it's kinda plain right now.
and even though this is mentioned ABSOLUTELY NO WHERE in the guide, all walls with stroke outlines on the vectors will get rejected. you have to go back and re-outline the whole damn thing with shapes. I know from firsthand experience. and it sucks, but it is def. true.

You mean re-do the lines as vectors? Cuz I was thinking of doing that anyways, since it looks cleaner.

What would you suggest in the background? I'm trying to find a way to add onto it, but not make it look too busy.

Umm, maybe some textures and smaller patterns somewhere, not too much though, cuz it would make the wall wayyyy to busy.
also, It might just be me, but I thought her hair was a bit more vibrant/red. or maybe the red in the background is washing her out? dunno, just seems like the red is off, but that's just a minor detail.

That's quite possible, I don't have much luck with colors (Hi, colorblind!), and even then I usually add a dose of contrast/high pass on the finished product, what to make the colors look more lively and all. I'll edit in the fixed version later :3

I don't know why but I feel like the background is really not fitting the scan... She doesn't look in love at all... She's like she was up to something pretty nasty...

I don't know the character so no idea what is her character but she doesn't look lovely at all... Her smile and eyes are really getting to the face a plot look... Or it just can be me! :D

About the vector I guess Melly's right... But I want to ask you a question : what is it on her face? Is that glasses?
If it is you need to add the glasses! :D

Actually, I think the stroke isn't too big a deal...just lighten it by approx half.

Also, with your border, I think it would look better if you cut its opacity by half as well.

Other than that, a pretty well-made wall so far.

Her expression is rather nasty, uhh... being a lesbian-crazy-go-go-in-love girl in Bleach xD

And yes they are glasses, and I did add the glasses, I simply didn't make an outline for them though. I just put a shine/gradient to show the lens a bit.

I couldn't find a "dirty mind" background idea (Without being banned for indecent content...) so I went with the second option: hence the hearts. I still have to work on the background though.

Trying to re-vector this in shapes would, in the end, make it a cleaner, sharper wall. I used to use stroked segments a while back, but they don't look all that great and take away from the general vector look of the wall. Gewd luck with that xD.

I updated the background and overall colors (Make it look more vivid). I haven't gone around to messing with the lines yet (Lost Planet MP demo. Blame that D<) Will update again when done. Again, your critique is highly appreciated ^^
