Here's my first attempt for a wall, right after tons of bg failors, So yeah any comment or crits are welcome from anywhere, anytime. Also like the title, is it ready to submit?

The background is not my style at all but it looks OK...
But the scan has MAJOR problem... The extraction is really poor... You need to use the pen tool or the polygonal lasso to extract the character.. You have junk parts all over and in the hair also...
And I have a stupid question : What is this lamp in a BRIGHT wall as this one? :-s
The font is nice and fit the style of the character and the background too.
But you also need to put your sign on the picture.
On the right side you have a dark line.. You need to remove it.
Good luck.

The extraction doesn't look too bad to me; must be the colours of background you've used. With the idea of 'walking in heaven' a sky blue background would be more appropriate. I can see a hint of a rainbow, that could be made a bit more vibrant and you can volumise the clouds, work in some softly blurred mist and maybe a planet or some stars faintly hinted in the upper part of the sky. You should selectively adjust the colours of the girl's dress to a more blue hue to fit with a cerulean sky as well. The leaves painted all over the place seem a bit too abstract; with the texture in the background I almost thought it was supposed to be a forest with a mountain backdrop until I looked more closely :P

I don't see anything wrong with the extraction. o.o Yes, the background isn't my style either, but it really is good. ^__^~ Other people will like it, I'm sure of it.

I think the scan of the 2nd one is nice but i feel the color is to sharp , you should blend it more with the background-_-

No need to start a new thread ^^" The admins would just think you're double threading...and that won't be good.
The wallpaper has definetly improved from the first version :) Not sure if this will help, but I think you should try following this Tutorial. It improves the quality of your scan :) I recommend Overlay, or Soft-light :) Personally think the extraction isn't bad, but it needs some adjustments and it'll look better! :3 If you would like to re-extract the scan, try following this Tutorial ^^ Good luck! :D
