For the past few weeks i've been lazy. And my urge to go on PS to make something just never really hit me. I've been working on the Reika vector for a while but just completely stopped. And then one day, while searching for something interesting to do, I came upon my unfinished Reika vector. >=] Oh what a waste to just leave it as it is, i thought. And so i decided to finish the vec and make a wall out of it. But having been so long since i last touch PS, i just made it simple. maybe too simple. anddd... i'm wondering if i should put text in it. and if yes, where? AIYA!! This is too much for my small brain.

Help me out. ok?

Hey, that's actually pretty good! If you apply the text properly, I'm sure it'll work. Personally, Reika looks like an angel with all those feathers =P Maybe you can elaborate on the feel by adjusting some lights? I'd also like to see the origin of the feathers =P

Hmmm well after taking a look at the wall I must say it has quite the potential to be a great wallpaper. I would try an add something in the BG it's kind of on the plain side, maybe a island, or some dolphins out in the distance? Um as far as text goes where every thing is placed right know I would put it up towards the top left or bottom left.

I'm no wizard with backgrounds but you may want to soften the lines on Reika a bit like this. If you have her on just one layer then just duplicate it, for mulitiple layers copy merged and paste above the original vector work but below the feathers. Then run a gaussian blur with a radius of ten on the new layer and fade the opacity of this layer to somewhere between 20-30 percent. If gives that psuedo-shiny painted cell effect that so many of the shows from this period seemed to use (as opposed to the cloud filter they seem to use so much the last year or so). Also, maybe just a little blur on the feathers closest to the "camera" to give illusion of depth?

Maybe an island in the background would give it a less plain look, as well as some text somewhere, although I'm not sure where, depending on what else you add.

But other than that's it's a nice wallpaper, very simple and clean. =)
