Well i bought both the please teacher and please twins series on dvd is there any more anime series out by please.
all around i love how the stories that take place in these two anime's are in the same town some what and how while you watch them you see what you saw in the other although itll defeat the purpose if you watch please twins before please teacher. any way i was waundering is there any more anime series by please! old series or on going series.

Well, there's supposed to be 'Onegai! Friends', which is based on the two girls which you see in Onegai Twins (the two girls that hang around Karen and Miina during class). Ya know, the two girls who talked about homo-fantasies with Maiku and that other gay guy... lol
Unfortunately, that plan was sacked, and it ended up as a drama CD rather than an anime.

I loved both of them, so I bought the Anime Legends edition of them both.
That really sucks that they trashed the plan for Friends. Knowing how well they did with these 2 series, they could come up with something worthwhile

Onegai Friends was never meant to be an OVA or TV Series. And Onegai Friends was never trashed at all. It was meant to be a Drama CD.cabbspapp
I loved both of them, so I bought the Anime Legends edition of them both.
That really sucks that they trashed the plan for Friends. Knowing how well they did with these 2 series, they could come up with something worthwhile

I recently picked up the limited edition boxset of Please Teacher. I had never actually seen it before, but it was on sale. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. I really, really liked the show. It was funny, sweet, and had complex emotional themes I was not originally expecting. A great job overall. I haven't seen Please Twins yet, but I've read that it's not very good. Can anyone confirm that?
Well, I heard of one called Onegai Friends. But I couldn't find it on a DVD. Just the other two series. But, Please Twins and Teacher are pretty good. That seems to be all I know. You'll like the other two series.

I liked both of them!!
I think I downloaded and watched Onegai Teacher three times before I broke down and just bought it XD. I REALLY love this show. Im not even sure why, its not really my genre of anime to watch, but it just hit the spot. Then due to loving this series so much I had to see Onegai Twins. And it might just be my opinion, but this one was way worse then the first show. Of course I havent seen many shows that Ive liked that were made as spinoffs.
All-in-all, Onegai Teacher! = Good. Very, very good.
Onegai Twins! = Poor. But not unbearable.

A drama CD is a very VERY loose continuation of something you might normally see in a series. In other words...fanservice.
For example, there are a few drama tracks from Vandread, Inuyasha, Nadesico and probably Naruto and One Piece as well. Not sure on the last two. But I have and have listened to the former three.
Simply put, these tracks are ideas from the series that never got much attention or are simply there for fun; or they feature characters that never got much screen time. There are a few Inuyasha tracks on drama CDs that are rather...silly. The 'challenge' is for everyone in the group to say an extremely long tongue twister. An example of a Vandread drama track is that the crew is going to have a play of sorts and Hibiki is the main male character that has to kiss the main female...Meia.
It's normally light hearted, but there is some pretty serious stuff too. Nadesico is more serious compared to the two examples above.
At least, this is my take on them. Anyone have an actual definitive answer or definition?

It was meant to be an OVA. Unfortunately, it didn't get the go ahead.
Kinda like the same fate of Hand May Mai.
Just not enough funding...
HOWEVER... if team 'Please!' just didnt' turn tail and decided to go for an 'Onegai, Icigo!' series, instead of 'Onegai, Friends!', they would have gotten enough funding for THAT.
Damn it... just a whole series on Morino Ichigo... is that so much to ask...?!

I liked Onegai Sensei better than Onegai Twins. The second season was way off the first one and maybe it was better to not animate the Onegai Friends. (don't kill me)
Well, the alien things just vanished in the second season and more of the incest theme was being endorsed in the second season...
But, I kind of wished that Ichigo had her own season too... Just make it whacky and weird like the first season...
