AT the start of Naruto Shippudden i was a clear fan of dattebayo as there translations are great but here comes sd project and they subbed eps 3 even faster than dattebayo but what really got me caught in between are the new version 2 they hav of shippuuden eps 1 & 2 as where instead of but the name of fansubbers they translated the production credits in english and while thats not a bif deal to some i personally prefer production credits to the name of fansubbers even though i do acknowledge the hard work they put in. What do you guys think

Subbing faster than the other is good but I think that the more accurate sub deserves more credibility and should be the better one. there's no point to be the first one to sub something if your only going to half-ass it.

I agree there, speed isn't everything, I can wait a few hours for Dattebayo to put out a more accurate sub. If I'm anxious for an episode I'll download the fastest since my japanese is fairly decent, decent enough to understand 70% of the words without doubling back. But, since I like to burn my anime on CD's for archiving, I'll download the most accurate sub for future reference.

I don't know.. I've been watching Dattebayo too and I've got no complaints or whatsoever...

I've always been getting the Dattebayo subs. Those guys do a great job.
You want accuracy and quality, Aone is the one you want. i know Aone wasn't mentioned here. they've been sluggish but if you have patience and/or is archiving, get Aone's. no other fansub group can beat their quality.
for this topic, i've been watching DB's all along since the day Aone fell behind. i guess i could try and see the other group's work. i'll stick with DB til Aone catches up, if not, DB all the way.

Dattebayo, I'd have to say. They used to be a called like Bakafish or something? Oh well. They improved a lot and they are much more effective. So Db ftw.
Dattebayo has the better quality over the two. So hands down Dattebayo. Not only that but they were the only fansubbers brave enough to bring us the original Naruto and Bleach although they're licensed series. So it's really hard to turn my back on them now since they've given us so much.
I know a few of the guys at DB, so I guess I'll be prejudice and say I'll stick to them.

I must agree with all the great points and when i watch both side by side id hav 2 say dattebayo is better and the extra content they have at the end of the eps instead of sponsers (which takes away the viewing pleasure of the show) but what happened to sd fans it appears there arent many is anyone their willing to or to try and change my mind
