Do you prefer to read manga or watch the anime?

I like both...but usually in mangas the story is longer, but on the other hand... in anime's it shows sound effect better and it seems more realistic.

I would choose both. but sometime the manga is better than the anime and sometimes the opposite
Mmmmm Until now there are many cases where the manga is better than the anime... So i guess i prefer manga. Although yes, some anime is better than the manga.

I have a rule, which is:
If the anime episodes are shorter than 50~ eps, then I'm going to watch the anime. But, if they are longer than 50~ eps, I'm going to read the manga.
It's a good rule ;D

ooo I like the way you think. My limit is 26 though, I mean about 80% of my anime collection are either 12,13 or 26 episodes long. The few series that i have that go longer than 26 i tend to watch the anime first, then move on to the manga. I could never stand knowing what happens in a movie/show beforehand but somehow am able to tolerate knowing what happens in a book before reading it. O_O' just wierd like that i suppose
Both. I want to read the manga first before the anime.
Usually, I prefer reading manga if it's shoujo and watching anime if its shounen genres.
My only complaint is that sometimes, plot content is really far from each other... example: Full Metal Alchemist... good luck on your headaches with the manga and the anime. XD

Hmmm... i would say both also. Since for anime i find it interesting how all the characters talk and their expressions, but some end really short. And for manga because most of the time the story goes on longer then then anime. :)
That really depends on the type of the series. If it's a more serious/mystery series for some reason I'd rather read the manga, but if it's a more...non-sense series like, for example,Magical Pokaan the anime is more appealing.

I like both, however I usually go with manga because, most of the time they seem to go more in depth, and some anime are just poor adaptations of the manga...
Both for me. But i prefer anime a bit more. It has people moving/action, voices, and music. But i look for good art too. Manga has the original art and the story is longer than the anime. It also depends on the series. ^__^
I honestly don't read manga. But don't worry soon enough I'm sure one of you will coax me into it one day. But I prefer anime over manga because there's more emotion conveyed in anime through voice acting as opposed to reading manga. Well it's either that, or that I have a really bad imagination LOL.

...Such a hard question...It really depends on the animation quality of either one...like One Piece is good quality drawing and detail...and the anime is pretty good but not as well drawn...i don't like the bleach anime drawings at all...the manga is really good to me...but if its the same, the voices added make the anime better to me.

Yeah, I started like that, but there were exceptions, like Eureka seveN and Full Metal Alchemist, so I had to change from 20~ to 50~ xD
Both. Reason why is the manga and anime series are of the same thing, but vary because sometimes the anime may have additional characters. Once such as Bara Suishou from Rozen Maiden is an character made just for the anime. Another aime is that there are those annoying fillers, that are only anime related. Mangawise your also better off reading as well, mostly cause anime's tend to end most of the way through the manga storyline.
