Do you prefer to read manga or watch the anime?
I like both.... sometimes mangas are more interesting, story is longer, have cool characters geart style.... but some is opposite, animes are perfect than mangas...........

I'd prefer reading manga if the mangaka was a talented artist~
Though I would prefer anime if its an action genre coz its so annoying when they try drawing all da moves in a manga book and it just ends up in a box of lines and such.
Or the only other reason why id prefer watching is when i cant be bothered XP

I like to watch the anime first, then read the manga. cause I like to hear the actor/actrees voice! In japanese, obviously

Well, i usually only read the manga because i think mangas are more story-oriented unlike animes that sometimes have stories outside the main story..but in some cases i'll ask my friends whether he wattched the anime and asked for his opinions, if he says that the anime is good, then i'll watch it.
It depends on the genres :)
If it contains many fighting scenes then I think anime is better because in the anime, it has sounds and we can watch the characters moving here and there XD
However, I prefer to collect manga than anime.
I appreciate the original artworks of every mangaka because there some excellent mangakas that I can learn things from their drawings :)
Choosing manga isn't too bad. Sometimes, there're too many fillers in animes and it makes me bored >_<" then I'll turn to the mangas which keep the original storylines going on ^^

I LOVE JP anime BECAUSE I like the actrees voice AND... EHEHEH >8 P
Well, I would choose to do both. It just depends on how I am during the day. If I'm in the mood to read a manga, I'll read a manga. If I'm in the mood to watch anime, then I'll watch anime.

I prefer reading mangas than watching anime because animes have a certain "speed" and while reading mangas I have my own reading-rhythm.
So I'm enjoying the story much more.Also I think that much animes are not as good as there mangas like black cat(this is my opinion).

I like both, but I prefer Manga, you get a lot more detail, more feeling feeling, you have to think and you take it in easier, You don't need electonic's to look at it and you can reed one volume at a time.

It depends on the type of series. If it is more magical I might read the manga to imagine what I can imagine how the story is moving ^_^. But with stories that you have to be there to enjoy, then I like watching the anime ^_^. Also comedies tend to also be a series that I have watch to really get the enjoyment out of it, outside of Yotsubato! which I enjoy even though it is only a manga at this point.
I prefer to both read manga and watch the anime.

I rarely read manga, honestly. The only titles I own are Angel/Dust (Yuina is quite cute and Seraph...my dear Seraph...) and Angel/Dust Neo (Shy innocent shrine priestess beauty? Check. Totally fun-loving nurse cutie? Check. Amazingly bad-ass hottie? Check). Despite the manga inserts in the Newtype-USA being better, dropping $10 for the full volume is better than dishing out $120 to get the full series in each mag.
I do hope they make an anime out of Angel/Dust. I'd watch.

Ummm.. yeah. mostly I love reading manga better than watching anime.. can see more "life" in manga.. and.. some animes are too long.. I can't stand it >.< still love to watch anime though ^^
I'd prefer to read manga than watch anime. For me, the characters from manga seemed more lively than the characters from anime. Besides, when there's manga which is made in movie version, I'd prefer to watch the live action version than the anime. But, it doesn't mean that I don't like anime at all...^^;
I rather read the manga first because it's the original story and obviously is ahead of the anime. i just don't like how sometimes the story changes from the manga like in Love Hina didn't end how the manga ended. Sometimes they even change order of events like in Eyesheild 21
