As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

Hello, Raxis here.
This post also serves as my introduction to all senior members. So, read carefully-and enjoy!
__________________________________________________________________________________
Perhaps everyone here-and in another site knows well, that we're using 'nick'names, or preferably said, webnames, right? That's what I want to discuss about;

Names, in my country, is 'sacred'...or something like that. The older people here (still) believes that someone's fate and future determined by the name it bears. Something about the meaning of names, of course.

This is not an educational talk, just another gibberish-but a quite fun one.
Perhaps someone-in the many of the reader of my post, realizes that in the many of the anime they've watched-or currently watching, the character's main points, ex: strength, weaknesses or other personality-related topics has been 'declared' in their names; check out the kanjis for the meaning in the japanese dictionry, and you'll see what I meant.

Okay, back to my topic.
With my post, I herebly suggested that everyone- in this forum...
-just write down, what is the reason you've choosen your screen name?

It'll be more than my pleasure to search upon my books and find more about your personalities; and announce it at my next thread.

As one say,
'You don't know yourself before letting another judge you';
your name shows it all.

Thanks anyway!
*oh, and one more thing. The name 'Raxis' I'm using now, comes from R-Axis-
The line that pierces center of a circle; or beads. So, it means 'Center of a Friendship' or 'The String which Binds All' in my language.

And second, to the users using numbers as their webnames; I'm teribbly sorry that I cannot give my Assistance.(Though the one using anime-character names will have their name-telling based on the names they're using. Suzumians, beware.)
Have Fun!

Whohoo~
I did NOT expect someone replied that fast-but I will stick with it.
Okay, the meaning of the name you choose, is not all about similarities-with the association with your name, or your liking to noodles.

Your character is: stright-forwarded in making your choice, did not believe much in what people says, and ultimately; brave enough to make a hard choice.

So, did my nick-reading guess is right?

"No one is perfect without others-
But Everyone voice cannot vote for one people."

Hello, Welcome. Although I haven't been here that long I still want to welcome. So welcome.

My name... it has a meaning to it. It's in a language that my large group of intelects friends are trying to create. the Izuma means 'Collector/Gatherer'. It's from the words "izzu" which means collect/gather/store things and "-a" which would mean the person who does the noun/verb before joining it. the "-m-" is a letter to combine the "izzu" and "-a" together. how it was choosen is a rule I don't know yet.

Bakumatsu means 'The one who distinguishes between good and evil'. How they made add up to that. I haven't learn yet. You might've asked how did I get this name. Well they gave it to me as a ...'present'.

The whole meaning of my name is the exact same meaning of my real name so I use this for every screenname I have... almost. My real name is in arabic by the way and it does mean 'The Gatherer/Collector who distinguishes between good and evil'.

So, how do you see me?? or predict me??

Well met, Raxis! ^_^ That's a cool name. And what an interesting idea for adding to your intro post!

And. . . wow, Izuma! Your name is really nice! :)

The story behind my name is:

One night at 4:00am, a crazy lady typed "Kiena" when trying to come up with a screen name for something. She meant to type ‚ "kieru" (Romaji-fied User posted image) meaning to vanish / to disappear. >_>

Well, Kiena just wouldn't do. o.o; So while she was in the shower, she thought, and thought until finally, she found a nice way to pronounce it; rhyming it with sienna! So she typed it differently, and now it's her name for everything.

(I know, I know! "Kiyenna" is very far from "Kieru". Shows how well I type late at night. :P)

Okay, I will post everything what I had gathered last night.
Noodles; you've gotta a nice legend about yourself; It's written in your name.
Noodles is believed to be derived from ancient Chinese dish, 'Mien' (sorry I can't post the mandarin Character), which is, the food that only emperors can eat once a year. Its golden color, represent wealth comes from chemical reaction from sodas(bases which come from burnt ash) with the flour and likely, with cholesterols in yolk. (now you won't ask the costumer service again when you read the indegrient list in your cup ramen). The length of the noodles represent long life; e.g longevity.

The second one, I'll go with Izuna.
Well, the first thing I imagine when I heard your nick- is the game: Izuna; unemployed Ninja which comes in Ds...
But not, you're not a ninja. Jut someone who tends to collect something, whatever it means.
I've searched the words you've choosen as nick, and it comes out as this:
"The one who collects the best him/her could gotten; and in the same way filters them to archive the best."
This means you probabbly has a hobby of reading/browsing actually, in order to learn as many as you want, and to get as you could. Pretty often, you can even know what happened even before the newspaper can publish it-
The problem is, this also applies to your daily work. You tends to stack as any work you can, and by the border of deadline, hurries; tries to take down all at once. Am i right?

Next I'll try to find the meaning of Kiyenna's name. Until then!

Oh, Found it.

Okay Izuma, I know that in my last post, there's something missing. I misspelled your name: Izuma to 'Izuna'. So, here it is.

"To gather" in my language can also means "Completing tasks"-hence, this applies tho your daily works. You're a person with high-enough capability to resists stress, and a hard working one on to of it. And the 'gifted' word given to you, "The one which distinguishes between good and evil" plays a significant role in your name-reading:
In several country, to distinguish between good or evil commonly associated with 'Inner Voice' or so-called self-conciousness. You are (naturally) generous person, who is able to help someone without being asked-
You completely given many respect to another, and in relations, you is as humble as you can be. Proudly speaking, the name you're gotten is simply magnificent, and it seems you can live out your name!

Now, Kiyenna.
To be honest, I'd rather not deform your name into 'Kieru", means to(make something) vanish-and "Sienna"; "The brown soil of Renaissance" or "related to Fine Arts" to make "The One who Erases any Form of Art", but translated it as "Ciel-u-Shienna"; "The Azurean Blue Sky that make the Earth Shine".
"How Come?" You ask?
Kiyena, when written in Hiragana will become the word 'Ciel', or "Azure Blue Sky/bleu celeste" in French tongue. And when combined with "Sienna", the meaning becomes like what I mentioned before:
"The Azurean Blue Sky that make the Earth Shine".

You have a good capability in making peace between two enemies, as the sky is always open to anyone. You can forgive anyone-even ones who seems hurts you the most, because you still titled them 'Friend'. And, you can always see something from a higher prespective, not limitted only by one-or two- points of view.
Finally, you seems to enjoy being in a community leader, as one who fills the holes on other. Whenever anyone is in urge of help, or in confusion, you'll be always there for help.

Okay, next Nickname? (9+_+) emoticon

Wow, you actually got it right. Yes, it's true enough, what you said about me. And yes, names do influence one's life. If a person is not strong enough to carrry the burden of his/her name, they will usually get sick very often. Which is why there are call names that might help carry he burden of his/her real name.

I'm adding you to my friend, dear Raxis. Such a person must not be lost in this world nowadays
