While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

I haven't made very many good wallpapers...
Is this worth submitting to anime paper?

Made in photoshop CS2. I took a scan from the rurouni kenshin memorial boxset. Applied a faint shadow, moved the anime's logo over the artwork and used brushes for the background.

Its definitely worth submitting but it doesn't meet the site requirements of size it must be 1024 x 768 no smaller.

My host resized it. The original file is 1024 x 768.

You might want to try a different host that doesn't resize your wallpapers, so we can check if the scan quality is okay. So far, my only comment is that the characters could be moved down a little cause they're rather high up. Wall seems fine otherwise.

The idea is good and I like the concept of this wallpaper. Too bad it doesn't have the good size. The image is nice, even so you can improve this images. Try to put them at center
