Synopsis:

A group of assasins are controled by Chronos. They all have a number on their neck. But number 13 which is Black Cat has the characteristics of a cat, because a witch cursed him. He is supposed to kill people but he also hates the thought of killing people.
The world is secretly controlled by a secret organizition, Chronos. Under the command of this mysterious organization, are the Chronos Numbers, a group of powerful assasins, taking orders to eliminate certain target secretly to keep the so-called 'peace'. One of the most powerful is the Number Xi, Train Hartnett, or known as Black Cat. At first he seems to be a cruel killer, a meeting with a girl Sweeper changed him completely. Now as a Sweeper, Train travelled with his partner Sven Volfied to hunt down criminals.

Chracters:

Train Heartnett a.ka. Black Cat - he's really cool in the beginning and i really like how his attitude is in the series
Sven Volfied- he's ok, but is left unkown about him really
Eve- way cool, it would really be awesome if you could be her



Story:

The story so far is really interesting. Giving off many points and gaps, but which will be revealed later on in the series. One bad part of the storyline is that it gives you a feeling of what is goin to happen in the series. The plot is well written and played in. So far i have really enjoy watchin the epsidoes and who Black CAt develops throughtout the story.


Animation:


The animation is pretty decent. Eventhough im not really too keen on animation since i hav just started really gettin into anime. Black Cat's animation is really good and futuristic, nothin like Ranma or Ah! My Goddess to give you an idea of how it would look. you can probably already guess that the animation is pretty accurate cuz it is new.


Music:

The openning song is really great, i really enjoy it and goes perfectly with the anime. The ending son though is really bad and just really downplays the anime. i really hope that theycahnge it really soon, because to me it sounds really stupid.


Verdict:


My verdict is that this new series is really great and that people should see it cuz it's great for anyone. In the end i give it a 9.7 out of 10.

I really like the anime too! I red the manga and the anime is not completely like it but I love how Gonzo made it so far. It's like watching something completely different yet it's the same. I'm not really making sense now am I? ^_^;

I recommend this serie too even if your a die hard manga fan coz' I think the anime brings something fresh to the story ^_^ You won't be bored since it's not exactly like the manga!

Well I saw the first couple episodes or ..so..I think lol! I didn't think it was to bad. It was interesting. The..ending..song/animation was kind of weird though lol

I think this anime is really good i like how train turned from that evil thing to a good guy and i cant believe that he wore eves bell that she tryed to make him wear.

quite boring animation if you have read the manga. And the story, oh the humanity, why not rape me while you´re still at it?
excellent manga, good story, style and everything.
Then the anime comes, boring style, nothing like the manga and the story is twisted like hell.

Nope, Black Cat as anime gets a big fat zero from me. The manga gets a 4/5 from me. Cause it has everything the anime doesn´t.

as for me, i love the anime but i haven't read the manga yet. i love action/comedy and Black Cat fits it perfectly w/ lovable characters and good storyline.

I really liked the manga and was looking forward to the anime when I heard it was going to be released. After watching the first ep, I was really disappointed since the anime storyline differed greatly from the manga. I continued feeling the same way for the next few eps. I recently watched 7-9 and started liking it a lot more after the anime storyline is getting closer to the manga's. Now I think it's a pretty good anime.

I read the manga before the anime was showed.
The story is fair, I've no idea why I bought the whole set of comics.
And I was really surprised that it got an anime. In fact, the manga was finished quite a long time.

Surpirsingly, I found that the anime is not bad.
I mean it has a little bit different from the manga.
The first few episode of anime talking about saya and black cat, acutally, I like this part very much, but it was not described detailly in manga. So, I feel the anime is not bad!

Please edit that thing out of your synopsis! it's so wong! it's like that was written after seeing just the first 45 seconds of episode 1 when Creed is duking it out with Train under the fireworks.

I like the ending song, it's a really funny song lol, it doesn't fit some tragic ending of some episodes but it makes me smile :)

About the anime itself, I thought it was just ok after 1 or 2 episodes but after watching 6 episodes, I can say the story is quite well done, and I really like it now :) I'm looking forward the next episode :)

No, I don´t want the anime to follow the manga to 100%, but for god´s sake, if they change something as vital as how the main characters design then I´m out.

everything about the manga is good as I said previously. Anime no thanks. But that´s just me =)

Black Cat is one of my favourite animes yet as it's amazingly cool and it's very funny at the same time. I love both the opening and the ending songs and the story seems to be pretty good right now. Can't wait for eopisode 10 to come out~ I'm having trouble convincing my friends to start watching thing anime though...
