As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

Man i was woundering if Fullmetal alchemist was good enough to see? It looks really good. I know that ed is transferd to our side. But i know he is trying to find a way back. Is there anything alse? Does it come out in theaters, here like all or some. Like what they did with Ghost in the Shell 2: Ionnance?

Well, if you want to watch it, you have to wait for the DVD, like Next year. But I read some summaries of the movie and it seemed very good! I can't wait to watch it!

Yeah, I went and spoiled everything for myself by reading the full spoiler summary over at http://www.fullmetal-alchemist.com/. Eeeks! Beware, it's the FULL summary. XD

It looks and sounds awesome. I seriously doubt they're going to do an international showing like that did with GitS:I.

There will be no subs until the Japanese DVD comes out in about 6 months. So, yeah, around February 2006, unfortunately.

It's good. Trust me. If you like FMA at all, you'll like this film.

I kind of doubt FMA will be in theaters...because there are so many movies that come out that aren't.
Even if it was though, I probably wouldn't go see it. It'd most likely be in dub, and I can't stand the dub. >_<

The movie was horrible. They had so much potential. And ruined it with battles and occurances that dont make sense, strange judgements from characters that were perfectly sane in the series.. and Basically ruined the killed off the last of my happyness for this series. The series ended off abruptly and sucked, but then this movie made it worse. I dont want to spoil it but really now... The following spoilers are things that made no sense in the movie.

No Alchemy world suddenly CAN use alchemy?
Ed needs to destroy 2 gates thus go BACK? Can't he just kill one on their side?
DRAGONS?!
His dad suddenly became stupider and allowed a war to be brought back to his world.
The reunion was boring and consisted of only Winry's minor hug.
Mustang could have lit the antagonist up 13 times before she hit the floor but no....
Someone who has NEVER used or heard of alchemy can suddenly create arrays like child's play.
Uranium created in the Alchemist world rather than the world strictly based on TECHNOLOGY?!
In a world of technology and reason, we have mindreading powers- where's the reason to that?

The only thing I liked is Al's new abilities... partial soul detachment.. Awesome. There were some sad parts, but overall I give this movie like a 6 out of 10. They really did kill a potentially classic series for me...

Final Thoughts: Spoilers like no other.

I do feel bad for Winry, though I don't think you're giving this movie enough credit. -_-

Also, he could use alchemy because of the alchemy pattern. Nowhere else could he use alchemy but there. So it wasn't like everyone could just use it.

Also, he had no control over what era he could go to, but to prevent the war he HAD to go back to that country and close off the gate between the two worlds. -_-
