Ah! My Goddess
Im a real fan of Ah! My Goddess, I have readed all the manga, but i dont know if it will end someday ^_^; , i think that its hard to make it an end, its not like i want it to end, but it could last forever. there are a lot of changes on the drawing style of Kosuke Fujishima on this manga, actually i preffer the ones from the mangas around the vol. 10-20. But all of the styles are great, Kosuke Fujishima its a great artist.
The art definitely has evolved quite a bit over the years. There's something about the current style that I don't like as much as a few volumes back though. To me, the eyes of the characters (specifically Belldandy) seem lifeless; I don't see the emotion in them that I used to. That's besides the point though. Right now, I just don't see it wrapping up anytime soon. Keiichi's relationship with Belldandy still has not made any real progress (of it's own accord). It's very possible that Fujisama just doesn't want to finally have to commit to one between the two, and is 'delaying the inevitable'. I just hope that when it finally _does_ end, it's not something ambiquos like Ranma...
Hmm illustration wise, the recent ones have a more simpler hairs, shadow clothes etc. Probably due to the TV series but i really think the mid-late 90s Belldandy looks the best. Now Belldandy looks like a teenager while the old Belldandy look more like adult...
I remember checking to see how the art was in the first volume to the later volume. I have to say there, it was really different ^_^
Ah! My Goddess have been going for more than 10 years ( around 15 years) but it seem like it won't end anytime soon.
Here are some of the reason.
- the manga takes too long to release - One chapter a month.
- There are alot of room for more stories to take place in Ah! My Goddess.
- Too much fans want more!

I can feel the gentle words fleeting as I read those words. Very good indeed.
I was just thinking about Belldandy seiyuu(voice), for me I think the voice suit her perfectly. But I wonder what do other people think of it.
It's a great series, but I agree that there's not much going on with Keiichi and Belldandy's relationship. Lots of other things are going on, but these two are the main characters, and although there are things done with them, it's not much. Like we have new characters like Welsper, Rind and Hild, but the romance between K1 and Bell is just fading away. It gets mentioned every now and then, but that seems to be it. I'm disappointed in that regard.
And I'm still getting used to the changing art style. I like the stuff around the time of when we finally see Urd's Angel and the appearence of Welsper. The older stuff before that is good too; around the time of Terrible Master Urd is when I really started liking the art.
Although it's hard to imagine the series ending, it could happen. I don't know how, but it could happen.

Yeah, i agree with what people ahve posted already, the mid 90s style looked the best, i started the series from watching the ova then the movie, then i started reading the manga and i think this is a good way for anyway to start with AMG since the early manga style didn't look so good 
as for the series' ending, i hope it will be something happy (and closed) and well, still reasonable.. umm maybe keiichi becoms a god and lives happily ever after with belldandy XD i dunno hope it won't end it a while though...

You know, I completely forgot that Aa! Megami-sama even had a manga version. I don't know how..., since I've read some of the manga, and seen the movie and OAVs.
But yeah, a series like Aa! Megami-sama ending...? I suppose it's possible. They'd need to build up a strong story arc, and then tie in the conclusion of the series with the conclusion of the story arc. It could happen.

Will it ever end?
I've been wondering about that ever since 10 years ago -_- I love the manga but... the plot development is so mind-numbingly slow. It has been over 20 vols and Keiichi has still yet to confess his feelings to Belldandy, for heaven's sake. And we're not even sure if Belldandy even notices Keiichi's feelings for her. I think she does know since she is goddess... but if they reveal later that she doesn't, I will be so disappointed in Fujishima.

It was a excellent manga, I'll have to agree.. but
I sorted got tired of the main characters never get any progress, I meant after 10 years and they are still not going anywhere, probably no progress at all...... that just won't happen in real life.
I already forget about the magna until last week when I saw their figures in a toy store. I thought it has ended few years back then....hehes
anyway, is it trying to break the record of the longest running manga/anime series in the history?
I sorted got tired of the main characters never get any progress, I meant after 10 years and they are still not going anywhere, probably no progress at all...... that just won't happen in real life.
