Its almost the fifteenth day, like what is the dragon festival in your city..??
well, i not living in my hometown anymore..
i heard from my friends, that the government forbid the dragon festival this year..
there's no dragon allowed to parade on the street because the other tribe isn't agree with such a tradition..

but the truth when the festival is coming, their people is the most crowded in the street..

so all the dragon is moving to the other town in my province ( i live in the capital city )

(FYI, bad English) I live in Indonesia, my hometown is Pontianak, the city that pass by the 0 degree line (aka equator line)
but now i live in Jakarta, because i were in university..

the dragon festival is celebrate in the 15th day of spring (counted from the first day of lunar new year), its time when dragons (the chinese style dragon, i don't know what it called) is being parade on the street...
its the same with China dragon parade

people say, if you passing beneath the dragon from tail to head, your luck will increase... (i done it every year, but i never feel my luck increase )
or if you got the dragon's scale or the dragon's beard, you'll get more luck, depend on where you put it..

usually, i put dragon's scale in my wallet ( hoping for more money)
and the dragon beard in my motorcycle ( hoping for safety)

sometimes i think, its a weird tradition...
