This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Ah, I see. So after approving is possible to change to even a not listed resolution.

^hatesyou 24 minutes ago
The first was a 4:3 wallpaper. The low res widescreen version has been added later.

°akiranyo 26 minutes ago
Kath: That means that the first was 1440x900?

^hatesyou 28 minutes ago
The 1280x800 version has been uploaded by the user as a first revision. Might pay to get your facts straight before complaining.

°akiranyo 31 minutes ago
We should go up with resolutions not down. Btw AP resizes 1440x900 automatic to 1280x800.

Oh, fellow widescreen users eh

~thebigfatwhale 33 minutes ago
Im glad, because 1280x800 fits my laptop screen :3

°akiranyo 42 minutes ago
Hmmm, AP makes such a big fuss about resolutions, but I see again a 1280x800 being accepted. Not even listed.

The other day i was talking to my friend about those retro TV shows we used to watch when we were kids. shows like care bears, smoggies, ghost writer ( word), captain planet, samurai pizza cats, eureka's castle... and the list goes on. from looking back, most of these shows were pretty cheezy, but hey, it's that very corniness that makes a kids show what it is.

so i'd like to know, what shows do you remember watching when you were a kid? what do you remember liking about them? and why do you remember those particular shows as opposed to some of the other ones you may have watched?

i remember most of the shows i mentioned solely by their theme songs. i could probably still sing any of those show's theme songs (but you wouldn't want me to sing... -_-).

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, even now I could name each of the characters. Generally, I used to watch those super-heroes such as Batman (my favourite), Spider Man, the Black Power Ranger :) (I was crazy in love with each of them) etc. Oh, and I would never miss Sailor Moon episode.

When i was little and still lived in europe, i loved watching the looney tunes cartoons, and tom and jerry. And if i remeber right i also watched Thomas the locomotive from the uk (before it got demolished) oh yeah and we had some german bootleg channels, and i never missed any episodes of sailor moon or this one little kids soccer league, that if i remember right was anime ish. oh yeah i also when bob the builder came out (in german) i HATED it. Yeah but people who saw my proflie know how old i am so, most of the kiddie shows i watched arent more than 6 or 7 years old.

Your thread title says "Shoes". Thus, this thread is made of ultimate win. (See user name)

I used to watch half a dozen shows as a kid; I cannot for the life of me choose one over any other. Though I can easily say that Gundam Wing and Dragonball Z were the shows that introduced me to anime.

Okay, if you're from the UK and in my kinda ages group (teens 13+) then you'll have to remember playdays! It's really funny because me and my friend have just been talking about this kinda thing and we were talking about playdays for ages. The character we remembered the most was Why-Bird, probably cos of the name but then we got into "Is Why-Bird a girl or a boy?" because we both really can't remember >< Then we got onto talking about "What did Why-Bird sound like?" cos we couldn't remember that either.

After I grew out of playdays I started watching anime and I haven't grown out of it since ^^ I started with Sailor Moon and went into pokemon... then out of pokemon again. The phase grew so now I'm into more anime than ever! ^^

I used to watch alot of power rangers, looney toons, inspector gadget, and stuff like that. The sad part is that recently, all my friends have started to watch power rangers again. And most of us are at least 17.

Woo, before watching anime most of us at least once had watch some cartoon xD
I remember Duck Tales, Care Bears (OMG they`re cute XD), He-man and the woman version that i think is called Shee-ha (something like that), there was a cartoon that i can`t remember the name that was a group of pre-historial creatures and a family of humans fighting against the evil and in their group there was a golem, 2 yellow-ghost-like creatures XD, and a lot of pokemon-like animals XD. After all these ones i get used to watch Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, Felix the Cat (i love him xD).

That`s all
