manga versus anime
Fact:I'm reading chobits and loveless
fact:I saw the anime loveless but I' didn't see only one episode from chobits
my bad
so...I'm with the: watch the anime first, then read the manga
true:the manga gives you a lot more information
true:if you didn't understand the anime you can clear your mind by reading the manga
true:if you read the manga first, the anime is no longer fun.'cause you already know what's gonna happen
but...if the manga doesn't bring anything new...then there's no point in reading it,
no?
so bring it.let me hear your opinion
I only searched at the manga section
so if there is already a topic like this at the anime section
I'm sorry
but I think this concerns manga more than anime so I didn't think it was necessary to look there too
and now it's too late
I'm sorry

I usually
scope out which one looks better first, or which one turned out better.
Then based on what I find out, I make that choice.
Personally, I like reading manga better.
But anime looks prettier IMO. :P

Manga is the fastest and cheapest when you usually want to get whatever series you want, but it depends on who comes first or it depends on what medium the creator prefers. Managa or the Anime. Cowboy Beebop has a manga but you get more info and story from the Anime. I prefer the Manga because it just cheap fast and easy.
I usually read manga first, because it gives more information.
If I found that the manga is good enough for me, then maybe I wouldn't watch its anime version.
Also manga is cheaper, but that's not really the point. Most of mangas have greater illustrations than their anime version.

I typically go with the manga first if that's the original source material. I enjoy watching anime as well, but sometimes the fillers and extremely slow pace are just painful to take.
I usually prefer Manga better then the Anime. But sometimes its the other way around as well xD. With me it depends on the series and which is better, the manga or the anime. But as I said I usually like manga better.

I prefer manga than anime, especially if the anime is based from a manga. It's because the story, characterization, and plot is much more deeper in the manga, and unlike anime, usually manga does not have those filler chapters that is unnecessary. That is why usually manga is better. I also support that artwork in manga is better and more original than anime.

I always try to read the Manga first - then move on to the anime...
I've noticed i've always enjoyed whatever series more when i read thru the Manga and get a much 'deeper' appreciation for it :P
Then if i watch the anime and go to the manga... it just feels weird, you know?
Cuz then i have the voice actor's voices going thru my head while i read instead of making it original to me, lol

or if full of fillers
.lol :P

I usually get whatever get released here in NZ first, which is usually the manga. I think that the manga have more information in them than the animes and sometimes the story can even take a different direction.
I usually watch the anime first.
If the anime is really nice, then I'll read the manga.
And yea, sometimes I do get really bored at watching the anime after I've read the manga... But some anime has fillers...
But sometimes, if I read the manga first, I'll be really curious on what the characters will look and sound like in the anime~ =3

I prefer Manga. Anime doesn't always, it does sometimes, but not always represent the original plot the manga-ka had in mind. Manga has more in it and i can read when i want. It's not as easy with Anime. I really only prefer anime with action plots.
I usally watch the anime first and if I like the anime I buy the manga. I like manga much more than anime since the manga use to have a deeper and much better story. The anime tends to be rushed, have unfinished endings, have episodes that is just for earning money and therefore pointless.
I love manga, the way it is drawn and how the story is build up.

I buy the manga first, because it's a lot easier on my wallet to spend $13 at a time rather than $30 at a time. :) If I like the manga enough I'll get the anime.
