Okay I will say my opinion :D
First try to clean again your image, I can see some jagged line there, use the eraser tool or pen tool to clean your image. Dont use magic eraser one. And for the background try to make a bg like space or nebula or something like that, and IMO you dont need to use aegis or remove the faded image on the bg.
Hope that help

Oh, you didn't mean that as offensive. Oh, alright. Then did you read any of the posts afterwards? I said I had a new one I haven't uploaded yet. So, don't try and tell me I suck when I don't have all the wall uploaded. An yes, I've looked thru the gallerys. An I see plenty of wall's with just color and brushes used in the background. I seen one just the other day that was pure orange with what three little things in the middle looking down at a flower. I thought your kidding me this is in here but I still liked it. So, don't tell me you can't brush a background with just colors. I think you haven't looked at the gallerys lately. So, when I get time I'll upload the new one. So, until then I beg you not to tell me that my wallpaper is trash. An shouldn't even be here to be reviewed and suggested apone. To make it better. An another thing if your just gonna tell someone they suck... why even post?? Your not helpful to making the wall better.
Bad extraction, and image quality seems very poor. Also If you use the rule of thirds (Split the picture into thirds with your mind) you can see that your characters dont follow that rule. You want your characters to fall on the 3 lines of the rule of thirds. So nudge the left characters to the right a little and Nudge the Gundam to the left a little.
try to clean it up with Shintas Cleaning tutorial
and to get a good feel on extraction use Shintas Extraction tutorial

Yeah, i will agree with the previous comments. (except !zimuteng03's irrelevant comment)
Just needs to be tidied up a bit, but it aint too bad all in all! ;-)
Keep at it and it will do wonders!

Okay here's what I think =3
I think you should just focus on either the Gundam or the two characters (don't watch Gundam so I have no idea who those are...). But for this wall, I think you should remove the characters there but leave the half transparent image of them there. So the wall would just focus on the Gundam where the faded image just compliments the gundam there. But a few things about the Gundam, I see many jagged places, so yeah as the others say, you'll have to work on the extraction more. Other than that, the colors and quality needs a little fixing. The image is pretty blur and at some places the color looks a little off.
Hmm... and I think a little blending would do the wall good. The Gundam and the background seems too far apart and doesn't blend in well with each other. Part of it is because of the extraction, the colors and the style of the wallpaper. You can try using the eraser tool using the 100px soft brush (if you're using photoshop) on low opacity and erase some edges to blend it in with the background. Last thing I think that needs to be worked on is the lighting of the wall. (again if you use photoshop) You can try the dodge tool and highlight some areas of the Gundam according to the light source. Or you can also try the lighting filter, a little hard to use but it'll be pretty easy once you get used to it.
Anyways, hope this helped a bit ^^

If I may add another comment,
If you have 2 copies of Athrun and Cagalli, play with the opacity of the enlarged one, since having two of the same picture would make the wall appear cluttered.
