i want to make a wall that gives a lonely theme,
i would like to hear your comments to my vectored char, and suggestions are always welcomce^^
and also i would be glad to hear suggetions for the bg of this wall, im plannig to vector the bg. and is my vector good for my planned wall?
thanks for the time checking this out!^^
im not that good in vectoring coz its my first time.^^ and i would be glad to learn form you all.^^
edit:
i just realized that the character became thin when i got the vector result, and one yuki also noticed it. i had a mistake in the resizing of the original image, so i resized the vectored character, i hope its ok now.

you can make wallpaper from it
as well, his eyebrow looks see through. if you are going to have his eyebrow visible like in the original screenshot, then make it opaque. a see through eyebrow is just weird. xP in addition to that, you might want to touch up the darkest shadings of his skin, the parts that's shaded by his hair. I think you probably eyedropper tool-ed the color, but it'd look more natural if that color was more peachy.
it's not a bad first attempt. some shapes are a bit funny (i remember a couple around his ear area...and some of the highlights have strange shapes) and not all of the divisions between colors as well done but it's a good first step. and you'll improve with more practice. =] as for a background, do something lonely...without anybody there. it could be a green tree with blue sky...or autumn...or sunset. something like that.
Good Luck :d
- add outlines to the hair (looks weird without it)
- his eyebrows are see through, make it darker
- the light black color on his hair should be just a bit darker
- white shadows on his hair should be pointier (they're round at the moment)
- you missed some white shadows on his ear + one under his eye + white on nose
For the background... hmmm... you could put a night sky with the moon maybe? You could even add stars and comets, etc. Or maybe just autumn leaves falling from a tree behind him.
Hope this helps^^ Good luck with your wallpaper too! XD
i made the finishing touches for the vector, i hope it better now, im a bit in a hurry today coz i just missed my first class in the afternoon, this would be quick.
yes i made the eyebrow opaque like what almost everybody was sayin, i made a mistake making the layer 20%. YAy! and then i did the outlining of the hair, and adjusted the highlights of the hair. and also with the hair shadows making it sharp at the endges. and also i added the light places in the face.
thank you so much for the time!^^ so happy you helped me^^
if there are anything about this vector, any additions or subtrations, any mathematics. LOL i would be really glad to hear it. thank you^^
edit:
oh no! im so careless! i forgot about the light shade in the node. >< so i edit this again and added it in the vector, that part was the only change. hehe, thanks for everyone!
here is the changed and better version (i think)LOL^^ edited with addition of the light part of the nose.LOL

thank you!^^

Anyway, this is what I think....
Your outline for the hair are too thick and too black?? It's just that I can see the outline clearly. Very clear if I may say. You have to lessen it a bit. *Check out the others* Shadows and other things....
Oh, about his eye-level, his hair, umm... I think it's a bit strange for me. Is it a shadow? If yes, I think it's the brown color is too thick. And there's something wrong with his hair.
Oh, it's really hard to explain it. Wait up a second. I'll circle it out for you.
Adding up : This is the picture.

You see, the first circle from the left? I think you have to work on it a bit more.
Sorry If I can't give you much suggestion.
Good luck for the vector!! XD XD You're doing great for your first vector ^^
Warm Regards, Yuki
