Does age really matter?

My parents are 16 years apart and they still fell in love. I think that if you really like the person and they like you back then you should go for it.
I like guys that are older than me personally, because i cant stand the guys that are my age. They're so immature. But then again, I can be mature too so it kinda works itself out. The guy I like it 16 and I'm 14.. So 2 years difference between us.

Age doesn't mean much matter to me.I rarely greet people older than me,unless I know,and like them.I don't like to bow down my head and greet an unknown elder,or someone who is actually more stupid than me.And I hate how adults think that young people can't have true love.Must they all the old,like..30 to have true love?o_o;;

Well, to me, age can matter in some situations and in others, it's just nothing. Two lovers who have a few years difference in age doesn't matter. But when the age of the two is very different, that's when it starts to get scary.

In my mind, it really depends on the type of relationship you're going for. If you're just up for casual dating, then a wider age difference can be fine, I've been in relationships with a 10 year age difference, but they never lasted very long. It mostly came down to the fact that I was looking for something more long-term, and they were not.
Additionally, as you get older, a wider age difference begins to matter a lot less. A 30 year old dating a 24 year old doesn't cause as many problems as a 22 year old dating a 16 year old (which is not something I would recommend), even though the age difference is the same.

Well.. Naww. I just turned 16 and I don't know if its cause I'm too apathetic or laid back when it comes to these thing but I really don't care. All that matters is if they meet all my requirements then I'll be good.

You see, according to research, we (girls) have higher maturity level than guys. So, if I were you, I'd choose a guy who is 3years (or above) older than me. Since three years is the maturity gap of guys from girls.
Insecurities lead to Paranoia.

As long as you are both consenting parties, why hold back due to age difference? As long as it isn't ridiculous like someone who is 4 years old... Know the limits I say.

When dating I think I prefer +- 5 years but for someone extra exceptional I wouldn't mind going that couple extra years.
For girls i think the only thing that matters is whether the guy has provided her with love and concern, feeling secure and such, so age doesn't really matter. But for guys i think they won't want to date women older than them for fear of being jeered/teased by their peers. I wouldn't mind guys who are 10 years older than me as long as he's my ideal man.

I think the age doesn't matter in my opinion, because love conquer all. I know two people love each other then it wouldn't matter that much. I have an uncle that is 45 and my aunt is 26. they love each other, but the part that i hate the most is when my aunt start talking a lot about how much she loves him. I think age doesn't matter as long as there isn't problem between them.
