I dont like to date girls that are too young or more than 3 years older than me, cause variuos reasons, like the generational diferences, like music, philosophies etc...

Age- A way of counting the life span a human spent in the world,and also a way of counting the remaining lifespan of a person
A normal person ages when he breath.Carbon dioxide will just kill the cells inside the body.When an individual grew older(spent a lot of his life span),his body cannot replace the cells which are dead quick enough and eventually he will just die and he will rot and became minerals for the Earth and become petroleum.

Conclusion : It depends on the individual...he think it matters,let it be....

My father are 18 years older than my mother. So, I definitely have no issues about age and love.

Personally, I DON'T relate to women my own age whatsoever. I tried for years and even dated a girl five years older than me, but anytime any one of them said, "Act your age," I wanted to throttle them. WTF is "your age"? I'm proud I don't look like the average 40 year-old man, and I sure as hell don't want to act like one.

I think that i will only go for someone within 5 years of myself. this is only because a decade difference is basically saying that the two of us grew up in different ages. now maturity is a major factor but 5 years sounds about right for me...... 10 years also means that one of us is going to die and leave the other for a while. (people can say that the years spent together is more important but i want you all to know that 10 years being alone is a huge chunk of your life)

Basiclly age is irrelivant now a days. People just go for anybody they like, but for me I someone who is mature. You can set a age limit for yourself, just don't go over board with it.

I agree with a bunch of others, that it depends on the person's preference, and should be in accordance with the law. I *personally* believe that if the gap is more than 2-3 years apart, both people should be at least almost/on/or around the age of 18. After both people are that age or past it, it really doesn't matter that much anymore. As people get older, age gaps become less relevant.

I am a young woman, almost 20 (my birthday's in exactly a week ^^;) and my boyfriend is turning 18 this year in May. So, that makes me 2 years and 2 months older than him. Usually, I find myself dating guys who are slightly younger than me anyway, and they've never been more than a year and a half to 2 years younger than I. I've dated a few guys that are older, but they didn't really hold my interest, but it wasn't because of age.

I've never really seen age as an issue, although I won't deny that some age gaps I've seen I don't view as "good" age gaps, but who am I to judge, really? My boyfriend may be a bit younger, and yes, sometimes he acts like it (who doesn't have their hyper/childish moments? =P) but a lot of the time, he's more serious than some of those older guys I dated. He mixes it up just right. =]

My point is, is that it depends mostly on how that person acts, how you feel about them, they about you, and you're not going to go to jail for it. >.>

Well, I do prefer girls who are at least slightly around my age. Maybe 5 years older or younger than me, like someone else here said. I just... can't picture myself with someone extremely older or younger than me. *shrugs* That being said, I don't think age itself really matters in relationships. The only thing that matters is if the two people can really connect to each other and have similar interests, and compatible personalities. But, age can have a factor in that stuff. A twenty-year-old woman and a sixty-year-old man won't generally have similar interests and compatible personalities. Can it happen? Yes, but I don't think that it generally happens that often.

I've had two girls in my whole life...I attribute this to dealing with complete butt holes in high school...

Back to the subject I've given up on both friends and the pursuit of happiness...I got my video games...I got my anime... They are the only people I need in my life.

If any of my "friends" ever happen come across my path and they get on my because I don't talk...well lets just say you were probably the cause of it.

I guess when it comes to love, age really doesnt matter. in my opinion if the love is true & nothing fake in it then go for it. but for boys(men would be better) i think they shouldnt go for older women then they already are coz i guess a female can get young & old pretty quickly & men do not.

Hmm i dont really mind.. but my preference is same age.. or younger haha.. when i think of dating someone older.. its like.. dating a sister or something.. iono.. maybe one day i'll find out.. and i'll let you guys know ;)

If you believe in true love then age is not a problem.

I think age matters if the person is a minor and they are dating an adult. Other than that, I think dating someone 10 years older is fine.

For myself, I like to keep it at a maximum of a three year difference and I mean older than me by three years. I have reasons and they're personal so I won't share them.

But really, age doesn't really matter when you think about it.
