Yeah i know its old but its still my favourite FF.
so i 'd like to know what all you guys think about the game!
my fav character is Rinoa but i do like everyone the game to.
my fave GF is Bahamut and he's also my fav Bahamut in the series.

MMM, not my favorite FF, but indeed a great FF.
Good history, but the game system and the main character... well i don't like them.
Laguna is by far, the best character in the game, whit all the charisma of a real main character.

I like squall the most, his final limit attack was great!! but my fav FF is VII, i think the story is the best among all the FF. And it was the 1st FF i hav played!

I really liked the music in FF8, but I wouldn't top it near my favorite of the FF. I really liked the...totally forgot the name, but wear you suck the magic out of the creatures. That made you level so that you could advance in the game.
I love tha triple triad card game, can't get enough of it, as a matter of fact I just started playn' it like 2 weeks ago and already I have gained lots of cards.. I try and play more than I play the actual game itself.. ;P
Final Fantasy Vi is my most favorite game. Maybe it is because it was my first video game I ever got. I love the characters, plot, music and battle system. It was a game where I put a lot of time and effort into it. The game does indeed have plot holes and it is also very confusing. It might take more than one playthrough to understand the story better. My favorite character is Squall I guess and Guardian Force would be Doom Train.
I think FF8 has the best story of all. Maybe for the romantics..
I dunno, i think all FF hav some goods in their stories

i liked it enough to play it a couple of times. it was good that you were strong enough to just attack most of the time instead of cast spells which would lower your stats.
Man i dont like it when they say that the card game is bad i think its better then 9 and the game plays is really good i also like the way they put thed magick i this game

A lot of people won't publicly admit to liking FF8 because it's received such a bad rap from the die-hard FF players, but I agree with many of the people in here in that I did like it a lot. The soundtrack is still, to this day, one of my favorites. I loved the unusual summons (tonberry king, jumbo cactuar), the combat system was great, and I actually purchased the full set of Triple Triad cards so I could play with my friends IRL.

I loved it for the story mainly. Squall x Rinoa is such a sweet pairing, in my opinion. In terms of gameplay, the Junction system was fairly easy but it's so time consuming to draw all those magic out of the enemy. A team of Squall, Irvine, and Zell made the entire game easy, too. ;/
Also, I just remembered that I didn't complete all the sidequests, namely the UFO/chocobo ones. I should probably try them out.

Another cool game, don't know how many times I played it, even that I never could collect all cards 
is the most romantic 
game from all Final fantasy series, and the music is so great!!

Loved it such a freaking step up from FF7 well it was put on a newer system so it can support better graphics but it was amazing. The card game was good.
