Devil may cry 3 is great!! i love the way they fight! slashing without giving any time to counter, dante has loads of style and weapon and on the other hand vergil is fast and have stronger attacks!! juz love the game!

Not only DMC3 but all the Devil May Cry games are among the best games in the world.

I played a bit of Devil May Cry 3, but I didn't like it because it was a bit too repetitive and really hard @_@!
Dante is cool though XD! His sword is awesome. I think he looks best in DMC3. His hair's cooler XD!

My favorite game. I'm a HUGE DMC fan(boy). Too bad I don't have a PS3 or 360, or any next-gen for that matter =P. I'm really looking forward to DMC4. Too many people say it's too repetitive. It takes coordination. I don't wanna sound rude, but learn how to play it first. In a sorta related topic, the anime isn't exactly as great.

Man, this game rocks! its an action game for christ's sake! Ofcourse it would be repititive. And so what if its hard? i can't belive that some people would not like an awesome game like this just because its too hard for them. Games are supposed to be d*mn hard, if they aren't, then people would not buy them and say its a sucky game. DMC is a work of art! its a game that should be written down in the history of mankind.

Iin General I think that the Devil May Cry franchise is one of the best in the action-adventure genere, because of it's unique combination of swords & guns, their awsome character, story, gameplay and style. Can't wait to put my hands on Devil May Cry 4 for PS3
Devil May Cry is awesome, I've played them all bar 4 (obviously) though since I don't have a next gen system either it'll be a while before I can play that. I actually like the anime quite a bit though it could do with a recurring story arc.
DMC3 is really great, but have you played the Special Edition version? That one lets you play through the game as his twin Vergil, as well as play through the Bloody Palace (an arena battle mode with 9999 levels in it).

Yes i hav the SE version, and i like to use vergil too! his attacks are a little stronger than dante's, but he lacks of style... his still a cool char!
the anime was okay, but not as good as the games and DMC2 was kinda bad... it juz doesn't feel like your playing DMC!

Vergils a little let down because he lacks style. His movesets are awesome but he's not very nimble like dante.
I wouldn't exactly say Vergil lacks style, more like he just has a different style than Dante that most people aren't used to. Where Dante focuses more on his reckless hack-slash-shoot-destroy style that has made the DMC franchise what it is today, Vergil is more laid back and focuses mostly on grace and power. That's he completely annihilates anyone in his way! XD
But if I may change the subject, what are your thoughts on Nero, DMC4's protagonist? Personally, I think he's a great addition to the DMC character roster. That Devil Bringer of his looks like it can dish out some serious ownage.

The fighting i this game was great and i played it alot and anoe im on the second to the last didifficult level

Devil May Cry 3 is great but the difficulty's quite aggravating as others have commented. >:
I had to beat it on easy first then played it on Normal/Hard. Ah, maybe I'm just not used to action games. Between Dante and Vergil, I prefer Vergil's style, though I really don't excel in either one XD;

Vergil style suits him, he is very prideful!! most of the attacks are as if his looking down on his opponent, cool! dante is reckless! and we like him very much cause of that!!
Hehe i got a PS2 just for DMC 3:SE and just for Vergil.
the game play is awesome the charaters are great!
