POKEMON!
Wow, don't you guys just love Pokemon? >XD
I mean, all the way back from Blue to Diamond now. I started playing when I was six which is when it first came out... And I STILL play. Which game did you start playing and which one got you addicted to the series? Also, do you watch the anime? I used to, but then it became odd when the voice actors changed. =/

I still watch it but since when pokemon diamond and pearl came out, I sort of stop playing it since I don't have a DS. I still like it and I really enjoy it. I do agree with you of why did the voice actors changed.
Ohhhh, that was one problem with having it on a new platform, the fact that not everyone would be able to play it as soon as it came out since it isn't on GBA anymore. Ya, the voice change was just too.... Blegh. D=
Well the thing is with pokemon diamond and pearl is the worldwide trading and people cheat like a mad man with that but they made the game really good and the show its kool nothing bad about it

I'm actually very happy they made it more difficult to cheat in D&P. But by the same token it's easier to unlock everything than it has been in the past, since you only have to see all 150 to get Pal Park, and as long as you work your way through methodically, you're guaranteed to see them.
Yaaaa, I like how it's difficult to cheat in this game since less people will be able to massacre you online. I just don't like how in Pal Park you can't transfer Pokemon with HMs. >XD I mean sure I guess it makes sense since some of them aren't in the game anymore but they could have at least made it so that HMs that are still used can be transferred. Anywhoo, do any of you EV train? D=
I will train soon. I'm working my way to get a DS and see if I could beat anyone in the world. Since I'm still working on it, it will take some time.
Ahhhhh, I see. So does that mean YOU EV train? It's tough work. >XD I've never faced anyone online before but I have made MANY trades over wifi with people on gamefaqs. I don't want to face anyone in fear of getting owned horribly since... You know, some people are extreme about Pokemon and I can only do so much with my lazy attitude. >XD
Actually, Pokemon is one of my all-time favourite video games. It just gets so addictive. (Even though the storylines are all pretty similar.) I used to really like the old version... up until the point the new version came out. I just finished FireRed a few weeks ago. I finished LeafGreen a long time ago...but I want to try FireRed and capture the pokemons that were available in LeafGreen. Lol... I have no life... ^^::
Even if you don't like the Pokemon anime, the games are undeniably addictive.
I still have my Blue version back from the day when I used to play it on my very old school GameBoy, which I still have. When I say old school...I mean the first one ever made basically - big bulky and grey with it's 8-bit system. I must say though, it's definately durable, having been dropped several times.
I also have a couple Game & Watch systems somewhere I think...featuring Donkey Kong. It's somewhere in a box someplace I believe...atleast that's where I think it is if my childhood memories serves me right.
My little bro has a GameBoy SP which I'll use seasonally.
Unfortunately, the cartridge had suffered some wear and tear and I ended up losing all of my game data several times. That was rather irritating and saddening to lose all my trained Pokemon...
I got Silver a while after it was released. I haven't picked it for a long tim now until several days ago when I saw it lying randomly on my shelf.
Game play is alright. When you've completed the game (with exception to catching all the Pokemon) it gets boring refighting the Elite 8? 4? over and again since there's really no one else to battle that's close to your level. Not to mention every character speaks the same line over and again.
As for getting any new releases...I doubt it. I'll just stick with the memories I have.

My first Pokemon game was Pokemon Red (Or was it Blue...) way back when it first came out, and I've gotten every Pokemon game since then (Not including Pokemon Ranger, XD: Gale of Darkness, or Trozei.) Though, I just mainly love the actual Pokemon games. (Even if I did buy Mystery Dungeon. xD )
I kind of gave up on the anime after a while, too long, no where to watch it, and the voice actor change was HORRIBLE.
However, I still enjoy buying and watching the movies. :3 Even with lame voice actors.

Lol ya, me too, it's horribly addictive. >XD
I mean ya, it's true that the storylines are similar but it never gets old for some reason! I always play non stop once they come out to beat the Elite four and then being training and rasing my dream team lol. I finished Leafgreen WAYYY back as well but I don't play the other version since my brother always gets the other. Hahaha there's no harm in capturing all of them, it puts on A LOT of replay value! >XD

Lol yaaa, the first ever gameboy was so bulky! It's a freakin brick! Lol Game and watch, I had one, it was Donkey Kong and the little gameboy it played on was teal.
Ohhhh, ya, I hate it when the data gets erased! X_X I still have my Gold version and I can't save anymore. >XD It's so horrible, I started a new game recently and saved perhaps... 15 minutes later and when I turned it back on to resume my play, it was gone! D= My brother said the battery probably died in it or something, you know, the save battery or something since there's no memory card. >XD Hahaha yaaa, I agree, it gets a little boring after beating the Elite X (variable. >XD) but with the new releases i've been raising whole new parties by breeding with natures and EV training, it gives you MANY hours... But I guess you can only do that if you have competitive friends. Awww, but the new releases are so colourful and happy! Lol.

To me it's painfully addictive. I've done EV training on my main team of 6 (Espeon, Latias, Suicune, Flareon, Spiritomb & Vespiquen). It's taken a long time to get them to L100 with their stats as they are, but when my Espeon can one-shot another espeon of similar level with Psychic, it really makes it worth it.
I really need to get my hands on Battle Revolution.

Lol ya, same here, I got it on Christmas the year it came out. I got the Blue version while my brother got Red. We had to share a Gameboy pocket which we also got for Christmas. I remember how excited I was just watching my brother play. >XD I remember EXACTLY how I started, I picked a random pokeball on Oak's desk and it turned out to be Bulbasaur... Blue comes up to me (but in this case I named him Ba... Hey, I was a kid, I didn't know what I was doing. >XD) and I lost to him. D= Anyway, since then i've ALWAYS loved Bulbasaur and he's been my favourite Pokemon for like 9 years now. Mystery Dungeon was awesome! I only got the handheld games with the exception of Pokemon Snap and Puzzle League. I gave up on the anime as well... I just stopped like watching it on purpose. By that I mean that I wouldn't like look up the time or whatever and wait for it to come on, rather, I would just watch it if I caught it on t.v.... YES, the VA change WAS HORRIBLE. OHHH MANNNN. I don't know how much I can agree with you on that one! >XD But yes, I also watched that Manaphy movie even with the new actors... It wasn't that bad since there were new people we've never heard and so their voices weren't as horrible as the main crew. >XD But even the Pokemon's voices changed which also kinda came out bad. Lol.
