This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Not sure what your into but i am all about brit rock and really obscure indie bands right now. check out beirut and also the young knives. but i have a really weird collection of music right now. i went on a downloading cd kick last week. I found some really great music from bands that i never even heard of. I always say you never know what kinds of music you might be into if you dont make an effort and try some new stuff. I just got tired of listening to either some nu metal band screaming about how sad there lives are. I have lost interest in rap music also . Its all crap now in my opinion. Well i wont go that far but the really good rappers are the ones that nobody has ever even heard of. True hip hop is hard to find now a days. With maybe with the exception of rappers like Common, Mos Def(the best), and Nas. Another really great rap group is Jurassic 5. They are one of my favs. Their beats and flows are just crazy. But my love will always be punk. I stumbled onto punk later on in my teens. I was hooked. My favorite groups would have to be Descendents/ALL, 98 mute, Less than Jake, ignite, gorilla biscuits, sex pistols and the ramones. I have to take it old school with my punk music. I hope other people post there fav music and also some suggestions for some new music that other people might not have heard about. There is nothing better than finding new music to listen to. now back to the downloading everything out there on the innerwebs i most go.

My fav music would be hardcore. and not the stuff people today call 'hardcore' (i.e., on broken wings, posion the well, norma jean. though i do like those bands and more in the same vein of music, they have hardcore infulences but they are not what i consider true hardcore.) bands like carry on, go it alone, blue monday, miles away, the geeks, gorilla biscuits, physical challenge, have heart, and mental which are true to the roots of hardcore that have a lot of punk infulences but are faster and harder than normal punk (shrike, i suggest you check out any of those bands, you might like them and if ya do, pm me and i can list off some more bands you might like :). the main thing i like about hardcore is the energy. sometimes i get moved almost to tears because of the energy in the music. but not just any song or band can do that. you can tell the difference between singers that scream because its the 'cool' thing to do in the scene and the singers that scream because they believe that much in their lyrics that they have to scream them. shai hulud said it best with, 'some words must be screamed rather than sung or spoken.'

I like classic rock and 80's music when I am listening to the radio, but my music library consists heavily of anime and movie soundtracks. With the way my memory works, I can listen to the soundtrack/song and remember the part of the movie/anime it comes from. It helps me to "see" the show without actually seeing it. So i guess to throw out some names...Yoko Kanno, Kenji Kawai, Ko Otani, John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Howard Shore, Danny Elfman, Shiro Shigasu(sp??), Toshiro Masuda, Jerry Goldsmith to name a few. But, yeah...kinda strange tastes.

I love all kinds of music; it gives me energy, emotion, and all. I personally listen to alot of different genres, and can't really classify myself into any particular genre. Alot of my favorites today (old and new) are: Alkaline Trio, Spacehog, Coheed and Cambria, Underoath, As I Lay Dying, Turbonegro, H.I.M., Archie Star, Foo Fighters, Metallica, Billy Idol, Ted Nugent, The Eagels, Pink Floyd, Skynyrd, Switchfoot, Story of the Year, Saosin, The 69 Eyes, Rob Zombie, Lostprophets, 311, Fireball Ministry, Type O Negative, Everlast, Eve 6, Alice In Chains, AcDc, Rage Against the Machine, Pantera, Vains of Jenna, Iron Madien, Lifehouse, Dashboard Confessional, AFI and so on.

I absolutly love going to concerts, I love mosh pits.
