what turns you off in an anime???
Hi guys! i've been thinking how people see anime now a days. and i reli want to know if whats pissin other people when it comes to anime. v(^o^)v

Annoying characters, terrible adaptation (manga to anime or videogame to anime), bad storyline and a bad ending.

If a anime is bad and I don't like it, I don't watch it and that's all. What I hate is when you have a plot that could have been very good but the development is so bad that you ruin it.
I also resent a little the idea that there always has to be romance and someone is bound to end paired up with someone else; and usually it's the main character and the childhood friend. It's strange to see some variation in that theme.

Really bad English dubs are the worst thing ever when it comes to anime. I can think of so many different series that have really crappy English dubs, so I only watch my anime in Japanese.
Another thing that really bugs me in anime is all of the ridiculous hentai crap. As if it's not bad enough with all of the stupid porn addicts as it is, they have to resort to anime porn. I mean, seriously, is it that hard to go out with a real girl for once?
I think the other major thing that really gets me going is when a series gets cut off short because it was underfunded or the editors just give up or cancel it. Prime example - Hellsing. The US censors stopped the series altogether here because people were starting to get scared. It's make believe! Fiction! But then, on the other hand, you have FLCL where there was only 6 episodes made and a lot of storyline jumping to make the series short. Just make 6 more episodes and drop the price on the DVDs!

I hate seeing animes that the story is terrible, or it doesn't exist at all... What disappoints me the most is usually the end of the anime, there are very few that I considered good until now...

What? there are anime with really hentai? as in really showing it in the series? wow! i cant believe it! i thought anime are not like that. really... im shocked, since i havnt watched an anime with hentai... im sad to know about it... T-T

I hate when weird people in Anime blow kisses or get those oval shaped pink cheaks. I also hate it when there not alot of blood and comedy.

The thing that bugs me the most is... FILLER. A bad filler can destroy the image of some important characters, they're also boring, have bad stories, and sometimes ruin the whole series (*Cough*Naruto*Cough*).
I don't like bad endings either. A series's end has to be epic (big battle, life-risking situations, death of some secondary character, stuff like that). Bad endings are the ones that leave important things incomplete, or when the couple that was suposed to end togheter does not (I hate that).

1)Bad storylines, don't give me a storyline that has the potential to be great and then do very little to develop it.
2) Poorly developed characters, come on people give your characters some depth.
3) Repetition, while some things are awesome seeing them the first time in an anime, don't repeat it, especially if you can't do it better, for instance all those crappy mech animes out there.
4) Bad voice acting, nothing worse than seeing a good anime ruined when it gets to the US because of bad voice acting. I'm still in mourning over the voice overs of Bleach.

Bad animation and drawing and also a bad story...
Too much exaggeration and a corny storyline!! Above all, An UGLY Ending!! It really disappoints you when you always watch every episode to know what will happen, all the hardships and the trials the characters face, all the enemies they must face and beat, and then the ending is just a crappy one! Then what was all those suffering for huh? SHEEEEEEESHHH!!!
Well....4 me...i hate when the anime doesn't look so nice...like they didn't produce a clean and pretty anime...huhhhh...my heart are breaking apart when seeing anime like that...

I hate when the story ends up dragging and they add useless fillers that don't compliment the anime. Sometimes when the art is bad, i also tend to not watch it.
