Whoa, its pretty sweet looking. I don't think you really need a bg, the designs themselves are cool enough. But if you really wanted a bg, I guess you could make lots of arrows zigzagging and those circle things. But that might end up making it cluttered :s
I know I've kinda rambled...maybe you'll find something useful from what I said.

I agree it looks really good and i dont think it really needs a background. Kinda leaves it open for icons.

Looks good like this and walls as simple as this have been accepted. I personally would have experimented with the arrows more but yeah...personal opinion. the thing is though, it wouldn't hurt to have a little variation in the shading for the background, what i mean is a soft gradient-like variation. um well, i used that in my second wall called "lemonade anyone?" and if you are interesting in seeing what it looks like, you can ask and i'll post a link or else you can just look through my walls by going to my userpage.
text can be experimented with but if it obtrudes, then scrap it. and is that sig completely cover-up-able by a taskbar?

now that's done and over with, here are some technicalities:
- host using imageshack so we can be sure this is the real size for your wall
- minimum size accepted here at AP is 1024x768, so 800x600 as is show on your photobucket page is too small

The image size is 1600 x 1200. It was denied though. Too low of a character quality.

I know this picture... :-S And that's bad cause I recognize the back of the turtle we can see under Sakura... It's probably a point the mods didn't like...

Try to remove this part and use an other host site to upload the full version of you wall... We will be able to give you full advices about the scan you used!

I would keep the wall very simple but I also add the Konoha sign on the left corner... But it's because I love it! :D

The bg is too plain, add some nice colors to spice it up.
If you vectored the scan, it'd make the wall look cooler. Click for vector tuts
Your signature at the bottom is too big, make it smaller and move it more to the bottom.

I think maybe, also, there's too much emphasis on the arrows, and not enough on the characters? I'm not sure.. It's nice.
