what kind of anime do you like?
I like Fantasy and Shounen anime like TRC. I dislike the shojo animes like Sailor Moon.
Anything as long it won't make me felll( arrrhhhhh>>>) BORING
Shoujo & Yuri ^_^
My favorites are romance and comedy ^^ but sometimes i watch action ones too
Action is my favorite but I like adventure too
Ones that have lots of fighting, samurai theme is a plus for me but i don't want some weird concepts within it. a traditional or realistic approach is solid enough for me to stay on watch
plus, deep rooted storyline gets the best out of me, one which makes you anticipate and think all the time

I really enjoy a good dark sad anime such as Cowboy Bebop(not sure if this counts too much) or Jin-Roh or Rurouni Kenshin: Tsukiou Hen or Air. I've watched far too many schoolgirl animes x_X
It's a decent break from all the obvious endings i've seen in anime. Once in a while, i like the story to finish on a depressing tone.

I like any and all anime. Any genre is fine, except maybe one with a lot of blood and gore, but I have yet to find an anime that I don't like. The ones that I like the most though are ones that make me laugh a lot, ones that make me cry, ones that aren't clichéd, and ones that have all the aspects of the show just intertwined and coming together in the end.

Thus first… one cannot say which kind to one of Animes pleases… thus I anyhow not ^^.
The question would rather be:
“Which must have a Anime thereby it you pleases?”
That would be correct in my eyes ^^
because I then answer up could:
For me with a Anime the most important those is entire story,
the background stories of the individual characters,
that impression of history…
… as it is low intimate?
… needs to think one for a long time over about it?
… is it a “08/15” story it the probably already innumerable paints as anime gives?
Thus the most important is always story in my opinion ^^.
there legend I is not asked however here simply times the Fantasy me at most which does ^^ and Action/Comedy
Baba
Tally^^

I really like shoujo for its blend of comedy and romance along with a nice helping of angst. The emotional pull and relationship aspect is appealing to me and goes along with the type of shows that I watch on TV. I usually watch animé that involves characters who are still in high school.
I like anime with plots, less dresscrossing and fanservice. I pretty much enjoy a show with a clever plot.
I like anime with really good art designs like Air, Gundam Seed, or Bleach. I like anime with good storylines. The genre would be Action, Fantasy, Romance and Mecha. I always look at the official site of the anime before I watch them.

I'm a self-proclaimed "hot-ass anime action chick otaku" so give me girls with guns or swords and gluttonous violence, and I'm slobbering on myself with lust and glee while glued to the TV screen. #1 for me is Black Lagoon-- I love Revy and want to make hentai with her until my genitalia are bruised and battered...and beyond. Second is Elfen Lied as Lucy/Nyu is an adorable psychopath. Watching her dismember people makes my heart pitter-patter.
Also, boobs...lots of boobs. Anime with liberal fanservice AND violence is one-stop shopping! (too many to list here). Basically, no matter how bad the script is, if there is gratuitous sex and violence, I'm interested.
On the other side of spectrum is distopic anime like Texhnolyze. I've always been a fan of distopic and post-apocalyptic fiction and like seeing it translated to anime.
Lastly is comedic anime with satiric elements such as Yumeria. I can laugh at my obsession, so when anime writers satirize the "otaku," I get a real kick out of it. Plus, Mone (character in Yumeria) is a delicious little tart.
In the end though, I'll watch about anything other than commercialized "kiddy" anime like Naruto. I have a personal category called the "Japanese WTF?" anime, which usually contains various perversions (like loli or sis-con) or cultural slants that make me think the writers got VERY drunk on sake.

I like romance comedy genre. I also like detective/mystery type of anime (like Case Files of Kindaichi and Case Closed/Detective Conan). And Rurouni Kenshin is one of my all time favorites.
