Full Moon wo Sagashite
This caught my eye at Barnes and Noble the other day. I read the back, and it really got me interested. It looks sweet and sad and cute, and just like the sort of thing I'd like.
I don't like to buy manga without knowing anything about it, though, and so I'd like to know what other people thought of it.

Full moon wo sagashite is great! ive seen the anime & read the first manga. i dont think youll be disappointed if you read it, i wasnt. it doesnt have any werid or bad parts in it. so i would get it if i were you. xD
Searching for a fullmoon is actually a good manga to read. They just have Volume 2 came out last week I believe.

Fullmoon wo sagahite is a cute story like wat spreadyourxwings said, "i dont think youll be disappointed if you read it, i wasnt." you will love it XD!
The manga's out? Is it on Shojo Beat like Fushigi Yugi Genbu Kaiden? Sure looks like a Shojo Beat manga... I should check the book stores this weekend.
Believe it or not, it's a pretty good manga :D Haven't seen the whole anime, so I have nothing to say, but it seems ok too.
I think FMoS is better than Tanemura's other works like Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne and Time Stranger Kyoko. I've yet to read her new one though..

I've never finished reading the manga... but the drawings in the manga looks super nice^^

I was actually nervous about viz doing full moon wo sagashite, but it's a pretty good series worth checking out. ^_^

The manga is great. The anime is good too but Tanemura-san (the artist) wishes that the anime differs from the manga so it's kinda different. Worth reading!
I saw the anime when another guy named James (same as my name) brought the anime to the japanimation class (yes there is an anime class out there). It was okay and it was also tragic. Though the DVD was actually pirated.

It's a really sugary/girly cute anime. Really sweet and angsty, the plots pretty good with twists here and there and the ending was very satisfying. I mean i read what you wrote and it seems like i'd be a great manga for you to read. I'm sure you'd love it!

Full moon is a hav to for me^____^ it has a really nice story line, i finished reading it on the computer, but i am still buying the english version^____^

I heard the FMWoS is one of the best anime/manga's around. Thats what i heard.
My biggest peeve with FMwS is that the main character doesn't act remotely her age. She's twelve and she has the decorum and acceptance fate of someone who is in their 60's. So if you're looking for something with good characterization and realistically portrayed characters I'd search elsewhere. If you like shoujo and do want something more realistic, I'd try Paradise Kiss or Nana both are by the same manga-ka and while the art style is different (it almost feels somewhat retro-y to me) it doesn't follow the stereotypical shoujo cookie cutter romance storyline that FMwS strays far from.
FMws is very especially to me...it changed my sight for death and my thoughts of suicide dissapeared :)
