Is this current arc fillers? I was reading the manga and was right where they first entered the hollows world but i haven't caught up, so i was just wondering if the current arc is fillers, cause it feels like they are.
It kind of feels like filler, but it happens like that in the manga too. I think they mostly included these fights to give some of the characters their new power.
But no worries, after they get past the part with the Privaron Espada, everyone starts to fight against the REAL Espada, and it gets pretty interesting then.

Yeah thats right... for how things are going, I see very little chance of fillers... unless they catch up with the manga too quick
The one of the Menos forest and Ashido was filler, but now they're back at the main story, so the fillers ended for now.

Agghhh i'm still waiting for one new episode a week and i haven't seen the end of rukias battle with that one that looks like kaien donno! this ultra sux this ultra sux. that little green haired girl is really funny. she asked rukia and ichigo what thier relation was off the bat like that lol.

That wind guy 103 was cool in his own way too he gave ichigo a run. i think i may get his eye brow and gotee style i kinda liked it. plus i can make it look cool because as you alll know i am ultra sexy. oh yes i see it now (girl #1 : oh hes so rugged brave and bold i like his rare style,girl#2 : yeah i just get the shakes all over when i see him ooohhh /and this is me : ohla bonita chikas! Both Girls: ohhh he super cool he knows basic spanish! ahhhh! lol!!

I can see them kind of going into fillers because they are catching up to the manga pretty fast so far. Well from what I think. I personally don't mind fillers (except those damn Bounto fillers 
) but as long as they don't go on for more than 8 episodes. Cause that means that we have at least two months of non-storyline eps.

To make it simple: those episodes are called filler which doesn't move the main story forward. It gives time for the manga to be written when an anime cathes up with the story. So main story stop and side characters or background story is being told in them.

I thought the Ashido fillers were pretty good too... he was a cool guy. And those didn't take that long, I guess they were just letting the manga go forward a bit.

Some of he fillers aint bad, they give you more insight into some of the characters pasts.
