Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

Recently me and some friends rented "Stay Alive" a story about a video game. We were exited, I mean a movie about video games neato anyways, whatever happens to the player in the game happens to them in real life as well. So if they die in the game it happens in the same way in real life. Long story short the movie sucked. At least we got to rent it for free.

My girlfriend made me watch Juon with her, because she said it was the scariest movie ever. It was terrible! Not scary at ALL. Of corse, she was scared out of her mind. and it was her 6th time watching it... *sigh*

Dude I love scary movies. My boyfriend and I have completely gone through the horror movie section at our local video rental store. We once found this horror movie called "The Stuff" and it actually wasn't all that bad for what we were expecting.

What you have to remember is that it's a movie. Almost everything is fabricated and drawn out. The probability of something like that happening to you is like 1:100,000,000,000 depending on what the horror movie was about. Things like Alien and Preditor, to things like the Omen are not going to happen to you. Although that scene in the Omen where the mother has the air bubble enjected into her IV was vicious... *shivers* Now that can happen to you...... Things that should scare you are things that can happen in real life. Movies like the Cave are hilarious to me lol.

I grew up on scary movies, so I guess they don't affect me as much as other people.

As for trying to get over your fear, play with your pet (if you have one), have them sleep in the same room as you, and generally keep your mind off of it. Have fun planing out your day tomorrow or thinking about your best friend and/or your loved ones.

P.S. Zombie movies are freaky to me, but watch Sean of the Dead and that'll totally put zombie movies in prospective for you. That was a great comedy!

I don't mind horror movies and I don't watch them much but when I do somehow it's not as scary as it would be for some people. I remember taking my friend to go see Hide and Seek and she was so scared that she spent most of the movie covering her eyes. I don't really find horror movies scary but for some odd reason some sci-fi movies tend to scare the wits out of me... Even a something like Mars Attacks (I watched this when I was about 9 or something) scared the crap out of me and I could sleep X_X

Scary movies are fun to watch with friends the first time. The second time, it's fun to watch them alone; less scary now that you know what's gonna happen. :D
One of my friends made us watch "The Saw II". It didn't scare us, but it disturbed us a bit. o_O And the next morning the first thing I said when I woke up was, "Well, that movie wasn't so bad..." XD

I think horror/scary movies is rather ok it depends on the story, I like creepy strange movies more than those with a lot blood and gore.

Oh man, I love scary movies! Its a subject the me and my husband very much differ on. He hates them and gets pretty nervous after watching the good ones. I do get scared and I jump a lot but that is what I find fun about it! Sakuradragon, my brothers did the same thing to me. When I was seven they had me watching Alien and Nightmare on Elm Street all that hokey eighties horror stuff. Its what brothers do, they also like to grab my sides right below the ribs right when a scary part hit to watch my just out of my skin!.... yeah, gotta love those siblings. But yeah, I also used to be very very afraid of stuff that was in movies and now it really doesn't bother me, but like my dear husband some people don't change in that respect heh heh.

I don't really like scary movies that much. I'm not so crazy into watching them, I don't talk about them, nor do I even want to watch them at all. There was only one I wanted to watch, which was "Stay Alive", although the reviews for it were pretty negative. I've only seen The Grudge, which wasn't really that scary, with the fact that there were a few guys in the room I was in that were talking and laughing throughout all of it.

Yea..ghost movies are scary. My friends always "force" me to watch ghost movie, especially Thai's ghost movies. They are REALLY frightening. Everytime i watch ghost movies in cinemas, i will close my ears and see the screen through my fingers. the things that frightened me out are the SCREAM sound and the sudden appearance of the ghost. Oh man, it really can make my heart stops from beating.

I used to be really afraid of scary movies when I was little, I walked out of Jurrasic Park because I was scared of the dinosaurs. But as I got older I started to really like scary movies. One movie that really scared me was called "It", the one with the clown that took little children away. I saw it when I was little and just the thought of that movie still creeps me out. I remember getting nightmares about clowns trying to get me. I'm not really afraid of clowns anymore but they do really bother me and I don't like being next one.

*agrees with Poofy*

Stay Alive was pretty neat as far as an idea, but it wasn't "spook you" scary. My wife and I really dug the Grudge (US Version), and want to see the Grudge 2 when it comes out on home video. That had some real freak-out power without being a splatter film. High Tension is another good horror movie, from our friends in France. Good twist ending, too.
I also wanna see Saw 3, but I'm leery of movies that are overtly "gross". Fingernail-ripping weirdness (a la Decent, Hostel, etc.) are not really horror movies for me. They don't scare you as much as they make you wretch and wiggle in your seat next to your date (or spouse) and look for the door.
For me, horror has to make me jump out of my seat and laugh or make my wife dig her nails into my arm and screech at appropriate times.

Regards, Aaron
