That thing that you can't sleep without...

You know, that thing that you can't sleep without... I wonder, what's that thing for you? Let's swap war stories and share the shame here.
For me, it used to be my plush. But 6 years ago, I gave that up in exchange of the blue blanket. So, yeah... But last night, I found that I couldn't fall asleep without my husband's snoring. For some reason, he just didn't snore at all last night. It was rather weird, and as a result, I couldn't sleep a wink... Oh well...
So, that's mine. What's yours?

Well, i can't sleep without my pillow, bolster, and sometimes blanket.
But if the conditions are too forcing, i can sleep whatever the circumstances are.
When i was camping, i didn't have anything but sleeping bag. Well, just imagine, in the cold air like that, you only have 1 sleeping bag in a tent, and you can't even move a bit since the sleeping bag is zipped up.

PILLOW! i can sleep in the floor, couch, or basically anywhere as long as i have my pillow.
...oh and also my favorite red checkered blanket.

I can't sleep well without my own pillow...unless i'm extremely tired. Whenever i travel...i'm usually tired by the end of the day anyway so the sleeping is on problem. As of recently, somehow i can't sleep without my mp3 player. Before this year, i cannot sleep with any music on. It just makes me unsleepy, but this semester, somehow i'm addicted to music even during sleeping time. I also can't sleep without a heavy cover. I hate those light covers that feels like you're not covered at all. I just think a heavy cover takes more of my fatigue away over a night than a flurry and light cover.
I need some sultry surround sound tunes.
I need background sound.
Doesn't matter what it is, just sound of any kind as long as it isn't incredibly loud. I leave my fan and computer on when I sleep.
I can sleep in pretty much any position known to man: standing, sitting, kneeling, squatting, laying down or any other variation of those.
I can also sleep in the strangest places most people have ever heard of. I fall asleep in the dentist's chair when I go in, I fell asleep right before having my wisdom teeth removed in the waiting room, and many other weird places.
I also need a kind of room ambience. Light or something of the kind. It helps me sleep, for some reason. I think what it is, is that it tricks my mind into thinking it's later than it actually is. Insomnia sucks.
Then, there are times when I just can't sleep at all. Those are the 40 hour days on no sleep. Not fun.

When I am home I just need my plush Lion that has been with me for ages, just can´t sleep without him when I am at home but if I sleep at some other place I´m just fine without him.
Well, my anime/manga collection keeps me warm at night. I really can't go to bed without reading or watching a little. ^^ it is good.
For the most part, I need a pillow. And the most preferred pillow for me would have to be a life size pillow, with the image of my favorite moe character at the moment. Having a pillow like this will allow for maximum comfort and therefore give me a good sleep. The pillow I usually hug to death is soft and the right texture, but not long enough to fit my overall needs.
Throw in 2 or 3 additional small pillows to comfort my body, plus a thick comforter blanket on top of two mattresses, and an urge to feel worth something, and this is all I need. Occasionally, if I need to listen to news and sports from around the world, I have Internet radio on, but at a low volume.

I absolutely need my own pillow. I also can't sleep on the hard ground. All I need is a plushy blanket though. I can't sleep without my cat Isabelle (Izzy for short) near my head or chest, and recently, my new kitten Winston (Winnie for short, although my dad likes to call him 'wanker' *rolls eyes*) like to sleep stretched out like a slinky between my legs and the wall. As a matter of fact, I've always had trouble sleeping anywhere but my bed, which has to be right up against a wall. Ya... I know... I'm a princess... *rolls eyes again*
I need to sleep with my pillow and my quilt.
I need this one pillow and fits to shape... I forget what material it is, but I'm sure most know what I'm talking about.
I need to be able to change positions a few times before I can fall asleep, unless if I am exhausted. I start by laying on my back, switching to my stomach, then back onto my back. I may switch to my side if my back is aching. I do this without having to consciously think about it. This process takes about 10-20 mins.
Hahaah. I cant go to sleep without my own pillow and my Shamu whale stuff animal. *embarrassment* I sat on Shamu when I was little and got this stuff animal, Ive slept with i ever since and if I dont know where it is I cant sleep at night. :O
