What do you get out of these lyrics?
What do you get out of these lyrics, was Dominiquw Killed? Suiside?
Well thereâ??s a house on the block thatâ??s empty now that Dominiqueâ??s gone
Well thereâ??s a house on the block thatâ??s empty now that Dominiqueâ??s gone
Now her dogs are alone and thereâ??s no one to watch her TV
Dear Dominique I wrote to tell you youâ??re delightful
Still I know want a strangle or a mouth full
Of gasoline or to be tied up and stoned
I wrote to tell you that I hope youâ??re feeling better
Self addressed stamped envelope stuffed with your own death letter
Written in blood and in your own handwriting
Thereâ??s a house on the block thatâ??s empty now that Dominiqueâ??s gone
Well thereâ??s a house on the block thatâ??s empty now that Dominiqueâ??s gone
Well thereâ??s a house on the block thatâ??s empty now that Dominiqueâ??s gone
Now her dogs are alone and thereâ??s no one to watch her TV
Well 13524 Park and East Boulevard
Your last stroll down the block was in the trunk of a car
I must admit that we never thought youâ??d go this far
Dear Dominique well I hope youâ??re feeling better
You look so cute writing out your own death letter
Well now thereâ??s no one to watch your TV
Well thereâ??s a house on the block thatâ??s empty now that Dominiqueâ??s gone
Dear Dominique you have a bold imagination
The countless ways you thought to die no hesitation
Fantasize long enough, you know it just might come true
Well thereâ??s a house on the block thatâ??s empty now that Dominiqueâ??s gone
Well thereâ??s a house on the block thatâ??s empty now that Dominiqueâ??s gone.
Well thereâ??s a house on the block thatâ??s empty now that Dominiqueâ??s gone

Suicide... Thats what I get out of it. Someone is writing them a letter making sure they are okay, but they get a blood stained letter back instead and now her house is empty. She dreamed about ways to kill herself and the person knew.
it's definitely a song about suicide in my head.
What about the trunk of a car? Would you think going to her grave? but it makes it seem like she was still alive if it was her last stroll down the block, so I'm thinking someone killed her and put her in his/her trunk?

So far is I get nothing out of it. It's pretty uninspiring or anything. Just empty words to me.

Sounds like a suicide to me... Mind you, it could have been a consipiracy. My god do I love conspiracy.

I feel like the narrator had something to do with Dominique's death.

Yeah those lyrics are pretty empty and useless to anyone who hears it. Real lyrics would be these ones. If you read it carefully and analyze the words you'll see the meaning in it.
When I feel you close to me
Itâ??s easy to believe
To the depths and back again
To find that Iâ??m still needing
Feel the fear dissipate
When you are everything you are
Feel my soul come awake
You carry me away
When I hurt, when I bleed
Youâ??re holding me
Feel you scratching at the surface
Under my skin (2x)
Oh, under my skin (2x)
Oh the sweet serenity
Iâ??m beautifully addicted
You are more than I can take
I crave you undiluted
You calm the ache, I come awake
When you are everything you are
Feel the fear dissipate
You carry me away
When I hurt, when I bleed
Youâ??re holding me
Feel you scratching at the surface
Under my skin (2x)
Oh, under my skin (2x)
Oh, yeah
Could I be lost
Could I disappear
Could I be lost
Would you find me here?
Could I be lost in a secret place?
Could I rest in the shadow of your face
Oh the sweet
(Could I be lost, could I disapper?)
Serenity
(Could I be lost, would you find me here?)
Beautifully
(Could I be lost in a secret place?)
A part of me
(Could I rest in the shadow of your face?)
When I hurt, when I bleed
Youâ??re holding me
Feel you scratching at the surface
Under my skin (2x)
Oh, under my skin (4x)
When I feel you close to me
Itâ??s easy to believe
To the depths and back again

Back to the original post. "Your last stroll down the block was in the trunk of a car / I must admit that we never thought youâ??d go this far" implies the narrator's involvement in Dominique's death. Dominique couldn't have locked herself up in the trunk and drive the car down the block, yeah? And perhaps she was tortured before that ("we never thought you'd go this far").
Pretty gruesome really.
Pretty gruesome really.

I thought of murder.. then a torture - suicide. She was tortured and couldn't take it anymore, so she wrote one last letter with the only ink left and killed herself.

I'm not sure really. I just find they're neat. Especially the others from that particular CD.

I agree. That song sounds really............gross. It actually made me feel kinda weird after reading it. That sounds like a bad song.
Actually the answer is to be various~~
i think Dominique suicided~~~perhaps the narrator is her boyfriend or husband~~they had a quarrel one day and the guy went out alone~~~~later he wrote to ask her if she felt better~~but it's too late since Dominique was hurt too much~~~~
hoho~~~just my imagination~~~
