This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Ah, I see. So after approving is possible to change to even a not listed resolution.

The first was a 4:3 wallpaper. The low res widescreen version has been added later.

Kath: That means that the first was 1440x900?

^hatesyou 25 minutes ago
The 1280x800 version has been uploaded by the user as a first revision. Might pay to get your facts straight before complaining.

°akiranyo 27 minutes ago
We should go up with resolutions not down. Btw AP resizes 1440x900 automatic to 1280x800.

Oh, fellow widescreen users eh

Im glad, because 1280x800 fits my laptop screen :3

°akiranyo 38 minutes ago
Hmmm, AP makes such a big fuss about resolutions, but I see again a 1280x800 being accepted. Not even listed.

Well I watched the movie "The Ring" a while ago, and today i agreed to rewatch the second one with my friend. After the movie we decided to watch one of the special features, which talked about a group of college people that believed Samara is from another world or dimension and they made records and inviestiagtions and stuff...

then i thought of this...

if you could watch the tape in the ring and will live if you pass it on in seven days, would you do it? and if you would, wat's the reason??

i think i personally would watch it, even though it scary. but after some more thoughts ... yea... i can't answer it

well if anyone haven't seen the ring be4, you shoud watch it, is a great movie with an awesome plot

I thought the Japanese Version (the original) was better than the one they screened in cinemas with american actors. I couldn't take the american seriously because it just didn't really fit that well with the actual story. I thought the Japanese one was more cleverer and despite its weirdness, was more spooky and dark.

I don't think I'd watch the tape, just because I probably wouldn't find someone who would want to watch from VHS anymore and people have started thowing out their VHS's. DVDs are taking over fast. Also, you'll be crapping your pants if you didn't find someone. Also I wouldn't like to be dead looking like they do in the films.

The ring? well I prefer the novel~~~
well i didnt watch the american version of the movie~~~~but i have to say the novel itself is much better than the japanese version movie~~~cuz the author creates a perfect scary atmosphere in novel successfully~~~but the movie tries to be scary mainly by scary scene(eg. samara goes out from TV)~~there's not many things like this in the original novel but it's still scary~~~~

Watching the American version without knowing all the back-drop, or about the Japanese version, I really liked it. I thought that they used some very unconventional horror movie tricks that made the movie pretty scary. Then I found out much later that it was because it mimicked the Japanese version, which expalined why the horror had a new flavor to it. In the end, I liked the Japanese version better because it seemed a bit more gritty, but the American version is just fine as long as you don't start comparing. Anyways,

I wouldn't want to watch it. I think the idea that the little wrinkled bisch wont kill you because you simply spread awareness of her story is a dumb and extremely selfish wish for immortality. But...lets assume I watched it. You damn well better believe I'm gonna have someone else watch it afterwards, even if I have to tie them hand and foot to a chair and cut off their eyelids. Hopefully, I would just have to use a simple, "Hey Tanya, wanna come by and watch a movie with me?" instead. Why? To survive of course. And live to piss down that waterlogged wench's well.

No I wouldn't watch the tape because it really wouldn't interest me - unless if the tape has some anime on it then sure...

There's also the Japanese TV series about The Ring and the whole story behind it is detailed out...

Hahahahaha, first thing's first, I really loved $phoenix617's reply. Now THATS comedy lol.

Now to get to the matter here.
That was the last movie that scared the hell out of me. Scary movies nowadays just aren't scary anymore. I guess I just stopped believing in them. I'll have to agree with $phoenix617 on this one, I'd never wanna watch the movie in the first place. If I was tricked into watching it, I wouldn't even try to solve the problem of the girl ever haunting anyone ever again. I'd simply just get the stupidest and horniest guy I know. Then I'd tell him that the tape is poodytang. Hahaha.
It sounds tempting to piss down her well, but don't you think she'd get "pissed" off at you and kill you??!! Getting rid of the curse is good enough for me thank you very much :D
