Linkin Park
I LOVE THEM!! (much respect) ^_^
To me, they are one of the best bands around (well at least in my time)
Their mix of music is just awesome! I mean with a DJ and a rapper and rock, I think they made a pretty good mix. Right now I'm still collecting their albums (it's a shame I don't have all).
I would like to hear your views on this band.

YES! i absoulutely love their stlye of music. its unique and different. their new album should be coming out soon. rumor has it this month or march. so i cant wait for that. Chester should be coming out with a solo album too... but i dont remember when they said that would come out. but they are just so talented. :) and Mike's Fort Minor was great as well. LOVE IT! :)
Yes, their style and taste of their music works are absolutely, to me very wonderful.

They're not really original(They are nu metal after all), but they're still pretty awesome. I can't wait for the next CD, I've only got Hybrid Theory and Meatora(Not really a big fan of lives or remixes), I've also listened to the Hybrid Theory EP... Which was nifty.
Well, the new album is going to be awesome if "QWERTY" is any sign of what is to come, I've got a rather high quality bootleg live recording and it's pretty damn awesome. Alot harder than most of their stuff, which is good. I've always liked their harder stuff more, "One Step Closer", "Hit The Floor", etc. but the rest of it is still good.
As far as nu metal goes, though, I still prefer Slipknot and old school Korn.
And P.O.D.... But they're more of a rapcore band...

I like them but i think that they are not active in the scene last year. i haven't heard anything from them, but they rock i absolutely love them, that is before but now i don't like them anymore.
I dig 'em. Listening to Theory and Meteora gets me energized and ready to go... Heres hoping next album lives up to expectations.
I like their style, I am not of a rock music person, but their music is an exception. The meaning of the songs, and the aura gives me the chill... I can't wait to hear from their next album.^^
Wow, Linkin Park... well I think they rock. Their style of music is often copied but I dont think that anyone else has gotten the same amount of fame as they have gathered up to date. BTW, didnt Linkin Park split yet? I know for sure main vocalist is with Fort Minor, but not really sure about the others...
People who say "they used to rock" kind of piss me of.
I'm a fan and I'm proud. As much as I know their new album is going to take them to another level and I can't wait.
No, xRenzokukenx, LP didn't disband. Fort Minor is Mike's (the MC's) solo project. Chester (the vocalist) has his own solo project too.

Linkin Park was something I liked in the old old days...my rock-starting days. I thought also that they were very cool and stuff, but now (I grew also:P) I'm over them.
Alas, there is one thing that I cannot now look over it...as you can see in this thread, some people think they actually sing Metal...even more Nu-Metal. They are a Techno-Rock band, with Rapcore and Alternative influences. But please, putting Slipknot and KoRn in the same genre as Linkin Park is something ~~ (to be added by viewer). Very commercial (just like Evanescence) and one, at least I didn't, would barely find true rockers paying respect to them for their style.

First of all, what is a true rocker? There's no such thing.
Secondly, the vocalist of KoRn worked with LP and as much as I heard both bands get along pretty well, well enough for the singers to have barbeques together.
I don't know how many songs you have heard but LP does have nu-metal songs as well as alternative metal.
Besides, no one, I say no one, but an experienced music critic can decide what kind of music a band plays. I think that Times has better information than any common music listener.
