Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

I don't know about you, but it kinda bugs me when people don't pay attention to what they're writing. I wouldn't consider myself a great speller, but do you even spell check what you're writing? Even if you do, that doesn't mean your sentence is correct, like when people write: me have go now. That's grammatically correct and sure, you understand what it means, but it sounds stupid. Does it bug you (o_o) emoticon

Umm... Not really? I don't know, but some of these people that you're referring to might not even be native English speakers. Sometimes people just write like that to be cute me thinks.. (xDD just kidding). It usually doesn't bother me too much though... Although bad spelling is often annoying when it gets too excessive... I mean a word here and there is fine, but when like every word is misspelled it's not so nice. (My browser has built in spell-check like Microsoft Word (with the little squiggly lines) but I rarely need to use it.)

Say what?
I myself,English are very bad
But it is kinda funny when other people write the wrong word
Maybe he/she want to write "think"
But he/she mistaken to write "thing"
Sometimes I can laugh by myself because I ever seen something like this

For the past few years I spent really much time in forums and places like that and I noticed how my grammar improved, so now I get a bit annoyed when someone writes like that. I feel like translating when I'm reading something like that p(T_T)q emoticon

You are aware that the topic sentence has incorrect grammar in it, right?

I'm an English major, so of course bad grammar ticks me off. I found that after spending too much time on forums, my grammar has become exceedingly worse.

I can put up with it when the people with bad grammar don't speak English as their first language, but I can't condone people who grew up in an English speaking environment and have had English classes with bad grammar. That's just ridiculous.

Here are some examples of what really bugs me:
it's instead of its
alot instead of a lot
CD's instead of CDs ('s instead of s for plural)
ur instead of you're/your
your/you're
there/their/they're

Tsuzuki, English isn't my first language so I'm not perfect myself and I am aware that I can make mistakes too... Sometimes I get annoyed by my own sentences. You should have noticed that I used "like that" three times in my last post and that annoys me p(T_T)q emoticon

Yes it bugs me. From time to time people have been grammatically incorrect, so it would be hard for me to understand...Worse yet they don't know how to spell..Instead they talk leet or just don't know how to spell xD but yeah if only if only...

Unless I am high on something that day, or don't care about who's going to read what I write, I try to be as professional as I can be.

People just need to learn how to capitalize the beginnings of sentences, only use an apostrophe in the correct places, and to try and not run a whole bunch of sentences together.

It's not so much about proper grammar, but how easy is it to convey what you are feeling whilst not making you seem like an idiot.

I'll respect the opinion of someone who can at least make an attempt at proper English. I'll just glance over someone who says "U DO GOOD JOB!! NUMBA ONE!" but I'll listen to the person who occasionally makes an error.

Edit: Oh and it's okay to throw in occasional internet speak, like "LOL" etc. but don't over do it.

Mm, I want to be an English teacher and teach English preferably in another country because it seems that people from other countries learn it a lot better than people in the U.S. do. I do not really get overly bothered by others' grammar, though, unless they are friends with me or someone whose writing I have to see very often. I hate being one of those people that others think will put them down because of their grammar, so it happens very often that I will become new friends with someone and they will not have necessarily the greatest grammar, but after becoming friends with me, I will see them trying to write much better, and it actually makes me feel kind of awkward since they do not say anything about it, but I see them trying. If it had really bothered me in the first place, and they were truly that stupid, I would not have given them an entire week.

However, on a whole, then yes... the literacy of people that should be able to write better than they do, is more than just a little annoying... I hate the replacing letters with numbers, and words, and all that jazz, but it is what it is and people will do it. If they do that, but I actually know they can write in actual sentences, then I do not really mind because people want to do their own thing, but when I see them actually writing like that in other things besides the internet, like school work and other things, then it is just ridiculous.. people could at least realize that talking with numbers and the like does not really make you look intelligent... it actually makes them look extremely young and immature in other peoples eyes..

But.. yes.. it can be annoying, but I can't let it bother me too much. Aforementioned, I want to be an English teacher, so I will do what I can to help when I can, and even in other situations I will point out things to people, but that is ONLY if I know they do not mind and they really want to learn the corrections, which very often, those that befriend me eventually do want to know when they write things wrong, but.. that is them, not me. People just eventually learn that they do not want to look stupid anymore, I suppose. =p

Oh. One thing that does bother me is that a number of those people I previously mentioned, that would try to start typing better after they meet me, later become the kind of people to put down others and to tell them they are stupid and how they should write and I hate that, knowing that they were not very good in the first place and I never put them down or anything like that... it's really annoying watching them act all superior about it later on.. Trying to help to actually help is good.. trying to just put people down because it makes you feel better is not.

Farewell for now.

It really gets to me when something I'm reading has really bad grammer. Anything noticable, like the topic sentence of your post. But, no one's perfect and neither am I. I, in fact, suck at grammer. That was probably what brought down my grade in English. But when it's according to other people's grammer, I don't like it when people use internet slang...when it's something long. Capitalization also bothers me too...
