Well, another wall using photo stock. I found the scan in the gallery, and it actually had two characters. But i prefer to use just one.

I like it.. but I'm not sure what it is that bugs me about the character in your wall. It looks so blurry. I can't really tell if she was that blurry in the scan or not. Then again, I kind of like the effect it gives- to me she looks like she blends into the background. I guess that's what it is. Because of the lighting she doesn't stand out as though she is away from the window at all. But overall, really nice job. You changed it a great deal. I'm impressed.

Somehow, I found something a bit strange at the bottom of the moon, where it crossed with the clouds..
I don't really know how to say it well but I think when the clouds crossed the moon, it's kind of blurry and don't know whether the clouds are parts of the moon or not..
Other than that, I think it's okay and ready to be submitted to the gallery =D

Niice so far but there are some things :P first the head and arounmd her body also there is jagged extraction and also some jagged extraction around the windows and such. also the moon and the bg looks blurry. you should try creating your own moon and clouds and all that. well go0d luck ^^

You have to work more in the extraction of the character.. cause i can see some jagged lines... like on the left side of her shoulder and the left side of her hair...
Besides there are jagged lines at the window too...

Its a nice scan...but you must look closer ...the window is not clean yet..i mean there something withe thing on the window

Well overall i reckon its a great wallpaper just for some few glitches that may need some work. You know the windows you did. Well the edges on them look really jagged for some reason. I think just smoothing it out might make it look better. Also the piece holding the window together on the right looks like its in perpective however the ones on the left look like they're 2d "flat". although i can see you attempted to make them look "3d" it just seems like the clouds are coming in rather than light. The sky you did is great!i love what you did with the stars. Back here in melbourne where i currently live, i don't see many starts because of the light pollution but seeing it in your wallpaper really brings great astonishment to my eyes! Great!
Just as an extra note you might want to change the font? i doesn't really appeal to me but i guess its entirely your choice! Keep working on those few glitches i mentioned and i reckon it'll be right! Good Luck!

Theres a big problem on that jaggy lines..did you extract this? or used the magic wand to cut the scenery on the original scan? well, extraction needs work then if you did that..
and what is that white thing above beside the big moon? you should remove that i think cause it doesn't look good anyway..

No, the magic wand doesn't work good, so i use pen tool & polygonal lassoo tool.

Yeah it's pretty good for a few hours' work. I think you do need to clean up some of the edges on the window frames; in addition there is a bit of a stippled mottled texture to parts of the frame that you may want to smooth over. As for the rest of the wall, your clouds should be set to blend onto your sky rather than be opaque cutouts. Try using the screen blend mode for the cloud layers, over a dark blue-purple sort of gradient for the sky. The cloud shaped like the horsehead nebula is a nice idea, but it doesn't fit the style of the rest of the clouds you've used! Aim for a more consistent style; or use your own brushwork using real clouds as a template. You should also add some white soft glow to the moon; adding both inner and outer glow layer effects work well when in my experience.
