World ending in 2012?

I've been looking through the internet randomly and have stumbled upon this information. It apparently says the world will end in this year 2012 although it seems a bit fishy. However there are tonnes of sites claiming it to be true. Can any of you tell me if this is true or not or am i just unbelievably gullible. Try searching in google for world ends in 2012 and you'll see what i mean.
I don't believe it. I looked for it on wikipedia and it seems really silly. Mayans are not among my reliable sources of information nor any other on that list of predicted events.

nah jks ... but i dont really think the world could end so quickly. It really depends on the wat the theory is.
Like Greenhouse gases, or even a meteor/asteroid hitting the earth. Those are explainable but i dont think that it will end the world that abbruptly ... lets hope not
But if the world should end at 2012 ... there would also be many reports in the news about this as it is very close.
Another thing, it depends wat site they are from. If it is from a recommenable site, i would might believe but then it might be a fake story somone has wriiten and just put it up as a website.

I think it'll be more of the American country seperating. Mexico and below will have a massive earthquake and seperate from North America and split the country in 2. Also causing a title wave to other countries.

Lets see now. The world will end in 2012... didn't some people believe the world was going to end in 2000 when the computers would all mess up and thus causing a worldwide disaster and wipe out all human kind like in terminator? Or was I just reading into that too much. LOOK, honestly if the world ends in 2012 so be it. You just have to live each day without any regrets. A girl you wanted to talk to but coculdn't? Why not try now? Wanted to learn how to fly a plane? Try that too right now. Want to snowboard and do some tricks? Go with some friends. Honestly just enjoy your self even if the world ends in 2012. I really doubt the world would end in 2012 and I didn't even bother doing a google search on that OP. I know for sure the planet will disappear when out Sun goes supernova. But that is like in thousands of years. Maybe somone left out a zero somewhere and it's supposed to be the year 2012 0? Then again there are natural disasters we should look out for. damn I hope the moon is ready for us to live on. I want a Condo with the biggest crater swimming pool on the dark side of the moon where it'll be cooler.
The end of the world is just an uncertain phenomenon that people claims every now and then..we can never be too sure about it...I've watched a documentation maybe about a year ago, 'bout the bible code that predicts that the wolrd may end iby some asteroid or something, but there was another code that says that God will not allow such a thing..(something like that)..anyways, it's just another theory...
I just hope it's not too soon...I have so many plans with my life and I don't really want for the world to end without even accomplishing them. . .^^

I wish these "end of the world" theorists would just go jump off a cliff and die. All they're doing is trying to spread mass hysteria and screw up the world even more. There have been hundreds of thousands of these predictions throughout history and HEY, the world is still here. Can you believe it? I believe the world will end, I don't know when nor do I care. If you want to worry about predicting the end of the world, why not go out and find a hobby or something...?
