Okay the background is boring.
Try using one character and make a wall for each.

I wouldn't recommend the drop shadow unless you've cut out your stock really well. Because right now, the edges are REALLY jagged and badly extracted. Also, the two chracters aren't interacting with each other at all, or the background...the background's alright, but it would really work better with a different stock. It's kinda random...there's no purple, no techno, no hard lines in either of the stocks, so the background you've chosen doesn't really work.
