Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

Well, I don't know about you but I loved this game. You could do so much with the character classes and even get monsters to join your side. This is definetly one of the best games out there. I had even found a very easy way to beat the last boss of the game and when I was finished I thought the boss was a little too easy but I did find an easy way. Oh, please don't complain about the graphics because it was made so long ago that we have, without a doubt, made major improvements so if you can look past that than the game was really good in my opinion. Does anyone else have the same opinion or do you think that the game just flatout sucked big time?

Pffffft I have to say the original fft is by far the king of stratagies, customization, and dont even get me started on the story line its crazy good. Brings back memories just thinking abuot it and also reminds me that graphics really arent all that important i'd much rather play ct cs fft ff6 ff7 then a game thats all for show. Perfect example of that is fable it had all the mechanics and it was all pretty but where was the story?

The storyline was awesome.

Proof? the fact that is was pretty badly translated, but yet the intended effects were still there, is undeniable proof of good storyline.

I think I clocked around 300 hours for FFT. Maybe more. In fact, I think I'm going to go back and play it now. =P

I didn't play the original but i played the GBA version and i think it's awesome. it's cool how one character can change into many job classes for it's race and alternate between each class which is kinda similar to the X-2 job system.

Well yeah, i like it to...the first time i ever tried to play that game i only came to that guy who looks like a sheep...was his name wiegraf or something?...and i was like only a knight with nothing much....
i was kind aplain and naive...i was still ''this chair has to be a aued for the rest and this nad that''
because i thought it was ''cool'' wtf? -.-
and i gave up since i could never really beat his first stage....around alot later...i tried to play it again and i still liked it, then i found out how to learn stuff and how i got other classes and what not...buuu yeah, this time i got pretty far, i had 2 swords in each hand(the ninja or was it samurai tecniqe) and i and hp restore and what not...in the end that guy didn't stand a chance a´gainst me when i was there...i was deffinetly better, with a summoner and what not(diablo, no leech or that skull god you can summon does So what of good damage on him...can do around 800 or so and takes him very fast out)
buit yeah, i liked the story to...just that some people had to die which was annoying...such as the princess in the end and so....but it was a very good story(plot) amd if they whould make that game again it's quality whould be way better....so stop complaining about it's grafics(dang spelling?)

FFT is among my favorite FF games, and Ramza is my favorite FF hero. The storyline is cool, lots of techniques and jobs, (the job style game was used first in FFi if i´m not wrong, then FFV,FFT and then FFXI, FFXII and FFX-2, so you could tell it´s not something square has forgotten). I could tell great tales about how i played, yet i´m not even trash against my brother´s skills. I even tell him "Green Peace is gonna come for you because of how you kill those behemoths", he doesn´t even let the enemies die after a full massacry hour.

The cool tricks that rock:
1.- Teach white, black, time and ying yang magics to someone, then make him a calculator (it rocks if you learn how to combine his skills), after that make him a summoner with the Mgc Atk Up ability, he will be a nightmare to every enemy.
2.- Get the previous summoner and bring a mimic on your team lol, even behemoths will die like dogs
3.- Buy lots of angel rings, they will revive your characther once per battle, equip them, bring the all mighty summoner with math skill and cast Ct5Death, there is a 99% that ALL die, and your team will come backto life lol
4.- train samurais, learn the Blade grasp (counter). Near all phisical atacks will be 5-10% probable lol. So you can go to the melee with knights, lancers and so and butcher the enemy lol

I loved Agrias. She also had the same birthday as me ^_^

After I maxed out all her jobs it was all down to dancer. She was the only one in my party that could pull off a crazy dancer, and she just stood in the corner. I finished the last boss by just letting her stay to the side of the ship and let Orlandu (BEST OLD GUY IN A GAME, until MSG4 comes out) do her work

Chemists we're also fun because they just pulled out their gats and dispelled the enemies movement.

Ahhh, yeah. FFT is the best. I also like Disgaea 2 because it has pretty extensive class options. And for a stripped-down, Flash based version (which is free so that's cool), check out Division at http://www.divisiongame.com.

FFTactics was a really good game and is my favorite Final Fantasy game ever. Too bad the GBA version was not up to par with the original, that was really disappointing. However the original was awesome with a great storyline, good gameplay, and decent art style/graphics.

When I first played it I just couldn't stop playing. I got addicted to it for about a week till my brother's friend wanted it back. I still have gotten all the character classes for some of the races. Overall this is my favorite GBA I so far that I've played

Final Fantasy Tactics is probably one of the best tactic style RPG out there. Lots of the characters had some kind of development, esp. Ramza which you play as a teenager in the beginning of the game, and grows up to be a young adult about 10-15 hours of gameplay later (just an estimate, since it's been a while). Player customization is key to how people like to play. The job system allowing for different branches of other jobs to be explored into and swapping other abilities with another class can be really useful. The difficulty was always challenging, since you have to think about lots of the fights, and every level has its own unique battlefield and obstacles. Also, enemies tend to level as your characters level, so 'farming' for experience doesn't necessarily do anything. The storyline was absolutely fantastic. So many twists and turns, and villains keep on changing, plot twists all over the place, characters dying and so forth. The soundtrack, was really good. It set the mood for the whole game. Creepy music for eerie plot twists and evil upcomings, battle music was upbeat or smooth, light jumpy music for happier scenes.

I clocked probably only 200 hours into this game, but exploring everything about the game was so addictive. As more tactics style RPGs come out, there's almost none that can match the quality of this game with new ones.
