this is my first wall here so...(Byakuya,Bleach)
This is the first wall i made here and to tell you the truth i don't know if it's good enough to upload it here, so can you tell me first if it's good enough? and if it isn't how can i fix it?

Ok i will try to give you pointers :) .. frist the size .. 1729x1344 ?? .. try to make it 1600x1200 :) .. and then remove the outglow from the vector :) .
I love the image of Byakuya it's really good quality the petals look good too.
The thing that bothers me about this wallpaper is the blue and black background. It just doesn't suit the rest of the image no matter how much I look at it. My advice would be to make it slightly lighter and maybe more of a purple colour. Right now the blue is too distracting from the image of Byakuya. If it were more purple or pinky I think it would look alot better, esspecially if you made the black less dark.
Another thing you might want to consider doing is bluring some of the petals so it looks like they are falling. It'll help give the wallpaper a little more depth.
Oh and I'm not sure you really need to put his name on the wallpaper either. I think it'll look good without the text there as it's such a large image and stuff.

Nice one! i like it but i agree... the size and the backgroud...
you should try to change a little bit the background, the petal are fine but as cessa said you should try to do it more blurry... the scan is good but you should take of the borders around him!

I think if you had a bg with cherry blossom trees it would be great.

Vector is cool. Santa's hat isn't. It is handmade and that' no good. Take the poly gonal lasso tool and do that. And I beg you, GET RID OF THIS TEXT because it's completely ruining it. That's all. I like this one.

I don't like how you did the fluffy stuff. Maybe you could do it vector-looking? Or maybe something with shorter...hairs? I don't know, it'd be cool if it could be fluffy but right now it just looks kind of weird.
Also, it's just my opinion, but I think it'd look better with a night background.

I would change the font, that font feels too christmast zD Just my opinion...

I honestly feel that the vector just isn't cut out for a Christmas, let-alone, Santa feel. o.o I do, however, like the first version you did with the cherry blossom petals. But the black and blue background wasn't very suitable for Byakuya's image as well.
I think it'd be a great wall if you stuck with the first concept, and change the colors to something a bit brighter. ^^

I like the christmas idea.
I'm not keen on the christmas version myself. I don't think it really fits Byakuya, I much much prefer the version with the petals. I maybe you should develop both at the same time if you are really fond of the christmas idea?
If you are going to stick with the christmas version then fix the fluff on his hat asap because it really doesn't fit with the rest. Also maybe try making the bg a bit sharper? It looks a bit weird being blurry like it is now, but maybe that's just me! I'm glad you took out the text it definatly makes the wallpaper look more professional.
