Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

Personally i enjoy playing most games.
Racing...
i never really enjoyed playing the Need For Speed series until Underground was released. Before that their games seemed really boring to me. But once i played Underground, i found out you could Customize your own cars, spoilers, engines, hoods etc. i got really into the game, and since then i have played every NFS, from Underground, Underground 2, Most Wanted, and Carbon. I find it really interesting when i can customize thing and perhaps cause i am looking at my ' ideal car' ? lolz
Beside NFS i rarely play any other racing games. My friend downloaded GTR2, it seemed pretty boring, circuit racing, i prefer NFS's fancy graphics. And the game was too realistic, it is a bit hard to drive, and even when i got the hang of it, it became pretty boring. I'm a big fan of Initial D so i guess i am a street racer hahah @_<

FPS...
i liked counter-strike lol ^^ (didn't everyone). I forgot what was so addictive about that game. Ages ago i took my friend to a LAN close to our house to play counter-strike, and once we played it, we never left that LAN =K haha. It became our favorite place for a while

mmoRPG...
i played quite a few out there. N-Age, Rose Online, Silk Road, Gunbound, Survival Project, Mu Online, Freestyle Basketball, haha and of cause WoW. i guess the most addictive thing about these were getting rare item drops =) and customizing your character.

RTS...
I only enjoyed, Starcraft, Starcraft - Broodwars, Warcraft 3, Warcraft 3 - The Frozen Throne. and Dota =) hahaha

i never played the Final Fantasy Series, but i wish i had (the graphics look really good). i never bought a playstation console except my PSP T_T
now you know what i like, tell me what games you guys like ^^

I mainly enjoy playing First Person Shooters, especially if they have an online component. I used to enjoy playing RPGs when I was younger, but I don't play them that much anymore. I really need to get back into RPGs...

Shooters are fun, but sometimes they bore me. the only games that can actually get addicting for me are Survival Horror, which is a little odd to me. I have 4 Resident Evils, played 7, and own eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. The prospect of getting scared is what I love.

If its online then i enjoy it. Mostly because of the community that comes with it and hearing everyone complain or the jokes.

Without the online i like FPS, RTS, and Racing.

FPS or any game that involves guns or stealth. FPS games like FEAR and DOom 3 are my best picks on this one because of the mix of horror and action. =3

I really enjoy the rpgs. I like how the storyline takes time and effort to unfold, like a really long movie. There are a few games where you can cusomize the story line and pick your own path, like Sukoden i, Fable, and sortof Evergrace. My favorite series by far is the Final Fantasy series, but Kingdom Hearts is right next to it. I love watching the cinematics as well.

I also do like mmoRPG, but I really don't have a lot of time to play it, and my computer isn't the greatest to play it on either. I haven't bought any really, I have just played the online ones. I just never really took the time to learn everything about the systems and to really get aborbed into the game. I do like how you can chat with other people online though, I think that is one of mmoRPG's strenghts.

All in all, I do like games, but I just wish that I had more time to play them. . .

Anything with a good story, or good effort at that. Some of my favorites are Soul Reaver/Legacy of Kain series, Phantasy Star series (especially the new one), Fable, Oblivion, WoW (sorry, I have to say it), I loved Asheron's Call in it's peek. And many more... Galactic Civilizations 2 is pretty good too, if you like empire control style of games.

For RPG :
I like to play RPG because it's long, and need some time to beat the game. For RPG nowadays, too many movies added. So it looks like you're watching movie and not playing the game. Things in RPG that made it fun are battle systems, minigame, or subquest.
Yeah, battle system is the heart of RPG (aside of storyline). Some games i played like Tales of The Abyss, .hack//GU, and KH2, they all have the real-time battle system, you control your own character and using AI to control other characters. But, FFXII, the one that made me disappointed, they used real-time combined with active-time battle system.
Subquest/secrets in RPG are important things. Without secrets, RPGs will be out of the question. The interesting point is in here.

For Racing :
Popular Racing game nowadays always have modify your own car. Street racing is the main genre, so that's it. Racing game like GT won't be so popular now, since it's too hard, and not much variation in it.

I like RTS's and RPGs the best. I mean, RTS games require strategy, knowledge of the different units in the game, when and how to use them, and personally it's fun to beat down guys who think they're the best at everything. RPGs are a whole 'nother story. RPGs are funnest because they can keep you busy for days, even if it's only single player. And the replay value will keep you comming back for a while. I also love how some characters are fleshed out and how the story sets themselves up.

My favorites would have to be strategy games and flight simulations.

I think the addictiveness of strategy games comes from the fact that there are so many approaches you can take to achieve some objective. For the PC I'm a fan of the Civilization/Alpha Centauri and Total War series. I loved Advance Wars DS, and I just started playing Front Mission 4 for the PS2.

As for flight sims, you have games like Ace Combat on one side of the realism spectrum, where you can fly, blow things up, and have a lot of fun in the process. On the other side you have the real simulations, like Microsoft Flight Simulator, Falcon, and Lock On. It's really not the kind of game everybody can get into, but once you understand how everything works and how to make everything work, it's a deeply rewarding experience.

I do like racing games too. I tend more towards the realistic side, but games like Need for Speed have always been fun, mostly because you can powerslide around corners like a maniac.
