Okay, so, I've been hanging around this site for a while now, checkin' ya'll out, and tonight I just thought I'd drop in and start actually contributing... :x
I'm mostly into sigs n'crud but I thought I'd take a whack at wallpapers.
So this thing is actually my very first wallpaper. Jolly good, wouldn't you agree, Ol' Chap? O.<

I'd appreciate hearing any helpful tips you guys may have to offer me.

Oh!Which series it is?The char looks cool >_<.The extraction is fine(I think so).But what did you do with the background?Too blurry,or you intended to do so?.Anyways,I really don't like the bg much cause it seems too blurry which is not very good for eyes >_>

Anime is looking in to the Souls of Humans bring Love Hate and Passion to the Eyes of Others, So Anime is part of the Human Soul
The highlight black banner stand out greatly from the actual background. I'm not sure if that what you intended but maybe you could lower the opacity so it blend into the background more?

I agree with the above, the banner kind of dominates the
picture. The extraction of the character is a little off
in some places as well, but otherwise, really good. One
other thing, I don't know how you'd fix it, but the building
in the background, its corners and edges look a little..
weird. Your sky looks nice, and the flame effect you've used
is pretty good too, I'd use this picture as a wallpaper, but
it's not the best it could be. So all that aside, this is a
great first wallpaper, here's hoping there'll be plenty
more from you, keep up the good work!

You are joking man! This is a first wall? It's great for a start and nice concept!
Ok extraction/outlining could get some more work. And the banner takes too much space. Also, the fire/lava effect at the bottom is too eye-catching. But apart from those, I don't see anything bad. Just work a bit more and you are ready.

I think this part needs to blend more in. Other than that its a great start.
