Does anybody play this awesome game called Mugen? It's a 2D fighting emulation where you could download characters, stages, and screenpack skins from all sorts of games. So in other words, you can combine Guilty Gear with Street Fighter, and they can fight on a Guilty Gear stage, or vice versa. You can also load characters from anime fighting games too, which is cool. You can also go up to 4 players taking turns, or you can have a battle with 1v4, or 2v4, or 2v2, or anything! You can do almost anything in this emulation for 2D fighting games.

Mugen is a pretty fun tool to customize your very personal fighting game... but finding good characters (in other words, balanced characters and not the retarded things with stupid priority and super moves) may be an oddisey, if you don't know where to look for.
I've seen this game before, I want to get it but I can't find it anywhere.
Its an old fighting game engine that allows people to upload characters of their choice into it. However since it is a game based through amateur programmers and a spiteful internet community, its not to be trusted. It is a game that is very unbalanced and extremely buggy.

I love Mugen ... I downloaded a Naruto and DBZ package and it is awesome. In spite of that it is free but the quality depends on the guy who designed the characters, stages etc. (mugen is like wikipedia for games)
Can someone please say where can i download packs of chars and stages, and not only chars...?
Thank You

I've played it before... but yes, it's odd. It doesn't feel very fluid. Though the idea is freaking awesome and it pulls off the idea very well considering how vast it can be. I may give it another try in the future.
I downloaded it but when i put new characters in i couldnt use they
i was looking for ichigo but they say hes the hardest to find

This game system is very good with respect to the character, stages and skins as well as the soundtrack that you'll be using. plus nowadays, they were able to put some good characters since the fighting era have also evolved and the sprites are now better. plus, you can also edit the moves to make it easier.
though i remember one character that is crazy enough to be included.. Broli of Dragonball Z, he's out of proportion unless you toned him down and improve some characters. another is that evil Ken, an edited SF alpha Ken which packs a lot great moves and by far, IMO, still the best out there.

I had Mugen before it was pretty. It good pretty hard to find rare characters so i traded with others. I don't have it anymore since i got a new computer but i plan on getting it again one of these days.
One of the strongest chars. I can remember is this version of Athena from King of Fighters, who had some of the strongest moves. And also this version of Akuma i forgot his name.
Oh yeah Evil Ken and Evil Ryu are some of my favorites.
