Thanks to the support and feedback of the beta testers in the past few days we have been able to iron out all the obvious and semi-obvious bugs found to a point where we can release suprisingly early! So on behalf of the development team, welcome to version 4 of AnimePaper's anime community software, we have alot of excellent new features for you to try out, including:

Style Sharing

You can now share your AP styles as well as making your own private styles, we are hoping to expand this feature in the future too.

Totally Reworked Groups

Groups has been redesigned from the ground up, this means the old groups are gone (sorry!). Groups now feature their own personal forum with alot more features. They can also use shared styles too!

Reworked Forum

We have redesigned the forum for better functionality, not only that but it looks pretty cool too. Some of the essential functions that were missing in v3 are finally here. The new bbcode will allow you to style your posts better too. If you're a little bored you can use the random item function to browse the gallery too.

Brand New Gallery!

We have spent the most time creating the gallery to be as kick ass as possible. Not sure if you want to spend the paper on a scan? Try using the "zoom in" feature. There are new features for wallers too including collab announcements and direct links to your other resolutions. The wallpaper timeline also shows the most popular wallpapers from the past 30 days which is very neat.

RSS and Notification features

If you're a Firefox user you will notice there are RSS live bookmarks available to use on userpages, forum topics and the entire gallery! We also have e-mail notifications for private messaging which I personally find very handy!

Great job guys! You really deserve a pat on the back. (Give a virtual pat on the back!) It looks like you guys spent a lot of time rewriting the site's code and it looks and functions like a dream. I especially like the new gallery!

Wow it looks lovely. But sadly I think the web designers gave up the wonderful simplicity of the previous version to make this one more eye popping to new comers. It's really pretty looking but a bunch of random wallpapers (most of which I have already seen) are at the top and I have to go scrolling down for the latest wallpapers (which is usually why I come onto anime paper on a daily basis). Though it may be a small qualm in the whole picture of things, I know it's going to get annoying after doing it day in and day out. With that said, it's still very nice.

Uhm, I do agree with angelwingkitty that this new v4 is sure lovely
and simple... though it's a little bit bright to me...
Also, I prefered to see the posts' date instead of 2 weeks ago, 3 weeks ago ^^
and yep, I do wish that the top rated wallpaper and new wallies are
just beside the news.. (the first column) and maybe the top faves
on the hmm below the latest news ^^
I know I sounds confusing and all, but it's a great change! And I don't hate the changes

btw, the user page looks much more nicer without even being modified ;p
it's neater in a way and the forum has more information on when the last post
was made and by whom etc etc. It's just great. Great job done! Eeh. there's a lot more,
and I really do appreciate the quick search on the forum! It's a real help, so I wouldn't need
to click pages after pages looking for what I need~

Sorry to tell ... bet the new forum isn't as good as the old one.
1st of all, the threads in the st page takes up too much space as the ones on the old one (annoying, since you have more to scroll)
then, what's up with all iframes o_O; ... and dunno what else you integrated in it, but the scrolling is damn slow on this comp ... yeah, there are still people that uses Celeron 333 systems with Netscape 5 on it, and can't avoid that >_>
Oh, to tell the truth, also the scrolling on the main page is a bit slow.

For now, don't have anything else to complain about, actually, the layout looks damn nifty, also the galleries ... just the forums x_X ...

If you checked the source you'd notice that there are no iframes at all.

Looks great! usually i feel really uncomfortable when a site massuvely updates like this but i have to say im really liking what i see so far.

btw though, whats with all the different types of CMs now?
