Bored. At. Work.

Well let's just start off by saying I've got a job that, while it's great, can get really dull and boring and quite monotonous. Though I have a computer, I have to respect the fact that things like IMing people or chatting is out of the question. Even animepaper has run dry of things to amuse me with, and my blogs have been updated with "I'm boored" more times then I'm willing to admit. Sometimes I draw but there's no paper here today, mabye I'll get some later I hope so because I'm dying.
But that's where you awesome forum members come in! I know a good deal of you are really young but I'm sure a lot of you already have jobs or have had them and have come up with interesting ways to amuse yourself to make the time pass by more quickly. So don't be mean and share before my brain leaks out of my ear from boredom! PLEASE!

LOL, actually I'm at work myself, too. I have to admit, although I love my job it can get very boring, very fast and mostly on fridays because the office is so empty. Now, what do I do to kill time? Spend my day in AP :D or mayhaps, do my homework that most likely is due that same night. Since I work for my deparment chair as a workstudy, I get a bit of a break when it comes to school work. So most of the time I'll be doing my school work and getting paid at the same time. :D

I can see what you mean. Anime paper just isn't as entertaining as it used to be. for some reason the forum posts around here just aren't what they used to be, it seems.
we're getting more lame topics nowadays instead of some real good meat. we need more intelligent and thought-provoking posts, not "WHO IS YOUR FAV ANIME CHARACTER??" oh well.

I'm a member of quite a few forums so I tend to waste a lot of time with them. 4chan and devart are both good for browsing through without purpose.
I also write stuff. This has the advantage of meaning I'm using word and there's text on my screen and cos I'm typing away it looks like I'm busy doing something work related :).

I am working as i am typing this, well my work isnt really boring, but i got most of the time sitting and waiting since my work is related to the cell culture in research lab. I usually dont have mood to study, so really i have nothing better to do but to view wallpaper here, lolz

One interesting thing that I find about being bored is that it's tiring. When I feel like I have nothing to do, it's probably because I do, but I just feel lazy. And consequently, when I'm lazy, I don't post on forums and even go to them, simply because I feel compelled to post whenever I'm in a forum. ^_^;
I've spent most of my bored time browsing 4chan, reading Engadget, and playing OGame.org.
I need to get off my ass some more and do something productive. I've been feeling so stressed for the past three months. Ack... ;_;

I usually just visit some anime forums at work
When I have time at work I read Harry Potter's and Naruto's fanfiction.
When i'm online I kill time by lurking in forums mainly because I don't like posting in What's your Fav threads but some of your comment are always good for a laugh, searching for random stuff on google or going to sites like addictinggames.com
When I get bored there I do stuff like cleaning or I actually get some work done and if I finish early I just go out roaming. And when i'm home I just sleep.

I remember those days when I used to complain that I get bored at work. When I have finished doing all the work I'm supposed to my boss allows us to surf the internet. Usually I just bring a book with me or sometimes I read magazines. Then my boss realized that I am ready for more responsibilites thus adding more work for me. Now I am barely bored at work.
I waste my time at LJ, looking thru torrent sites, read manga new sites/feeds & do a lil oekaki.
if that fails, I'll just read any manga I have on the HD.

Speaking of LJ, I think I need to start posting on my blog again. ^_^
There are some really great blogs out there, but the difficult part is finding them. It's just so hard trying to find the blogs that are either funny or have the interesting news you want to read. I come across tons of mediocre blogs everyday and sometimes it actually makes me mad seeing all of those "cool" people who are arrogant all because they have a blog. (And then, some of them take it a step further and boast about being able to create and manage websites even though they've only made entries on Xanga or LJ and modded the skin.)

I used to be bored at work. As we were never allowed to surf the net, I used to play the stock games or read. But then they removed the games and told me I couldn't read. Now I'm so busy I work over-time everyday just to get my assigned workload completed. Any time by brain is not required to complete my given tasks, I try to figure out how to make the our office's connection main server go down for a little while; so, I can have a short break.

Wow...so many bored people. I used to get bored at work, until I got another job. Now I have too much work. Anyways at my old job, I brought my laptop...so I would watch anime. That's how bored I was.
