What series got you into anime?

Well I started with Gundam Wing and Sailor moon, yea preatty common but I got hooked!

The anime that got me started was Ronin Warriors. I absolutely loved it. Sage of Halo was definitely my favorite character. I memorized everything there is to know about that anime. I even made information guides for myself. Anyways, after that I pretty much got swallowed up by anime. My favorite now is Hunter X Hunter.
I would say doraemon and dragonball are the ones that got me into watching anime
then it was rurouni kenshin, inuyasha, shaman king etc

I first saw Mai Otome than i start to get more interest in anime....next i watch is Mai Hime than Chrno Cursade than Hellsing and than all the interest in anime le.....hehehehe

My first anime was the first Tenchi Muyo series on a fansubbed VHS that I borrowed from a friend.
The first anime i saw... what was it?? if i'm not mistaken.. it was doraemon. ^^ but the one that sent me to anime-world...... it was... what was it?? AAH I CAN'T REMEMBER! XD oh, i got it~ it was beyblade and digimon.. XD
The first anime I saw was Pokemon but I was still young and I didnt really understand that it was anime on TV. Then some year(s) ago a friend of mine came to me and said "Hey man you have to see this, its an anime called Naruto!". I was abit sceptic at first but when I began watching it I couldnt stop... So I guess Naruto started my anime-mania.

Gundam wing zero was broadcasted on tv here one day, that made me familair with anime, started further on with some german versions of cowboy bebop and blue submarine no 7, then watched full hellsing version. eventually found out that some series on tv were originally anime.
My first was Pokemon but I didnt really know it was anime so that doesn't count. I think it was Naruto that acutally started my obsession =D

The first anime i ever watch is Gundam. From there i got interested in anime. Cause too me anime have a better storyline and graphics then those american made cartoons. And the matured level is lots better.

For me, my first anime was Ronin Warriors, and I watched it before it came on toonami (I don't have cable) - it was on UPN before that and I was hooked. Then it was Sailormoon, afterwards I found my public broadcasting station showing Robotech and they soon showed other anime like Key the Metal Idol, Please Save My Earth, and other titles too, they've since stopped.
I think Cowboy Bebop was the first series to get my into anime. I would watch it all the time on cartoon network, looking for those episodes on saturday nights. But I think that the first anime movie I ever watched, Princess Mononoke, was the real reason. I got hooked on anime after that movie and I think within a few weeks afterwards I must have watched it about 10 times and I always had it on repeat. I bought the DVD and sought out other movies by Miyazaki. I think that movie had really gotten me hooked on anime.
The first anime that got me hooked was like for most people, Dragon Ball Z. And I can say, I loved that show still love it. Because of that anime, I became interested in other anime. Dragon Ball had all the crazy action and awesome, exciting moments such as the emergence of Super Saiyan. DBZ introduced me to the Shounen genre of anime. I will always remember that show.
